I love your games! Grain of Truth, Trader 1, now this? I just wish there was a way to reread the last message or thing someone said, my trackpad causes me to click when I don't mean to sometimes and I don't want to miss anything!
Nice game, very enjoyable. I would have liked a little more context as to what was going on pretty much all the time. The credits were very nicely done. Better go add 'Uprooted' to my reading list...
I played this as a new game when it came out, making sure to get every ending. I played it again tonight, 10 years later, and still enjoyed it just as much.
There are some puzzles that really do have multiple solutions. I'm on level 26, that has several solutions. Mostly this wouldn't bother me except the instructions say more than once that there is no guessing needed.
I have a pretty good computer and I play a lot of flash games. I found the controls for this one to be delayed and jerky. The timing is all wrong and I hate that you move forward a bit and the screen shakes/flashes every time you swing. I like the atmosphere and concept, and the art is very cool. The poor timing and the jerky/flashy screen mean I'd give it a 2/5 though. I'd be very interested in an improved version though!
THIS IS NOT BEJEWELED. Bejeweled has smooth graphics, rewards for large combos and chains, and better timing system. I'm afraid this game is very unoriginal and boring as well as visually displeasing. Sorry to bust your bubble, but maybe try something else...
Ditto on the invisible wall. There needs to be a 'next' button when you finish a level so you don't have to go to the menu every time. It would be nice to have the square move faster and make the puzzles more challenging; perhaps include moving enemies or locked walls. I didn't see the point of having multiple paths and I saw no increase in difficulty as the levels went on. There is room for improvement, but so long as you keep working on it, it has great potential. Don't give up!
