If there are enemies that kill you in one hit, maybe you should... uhhh. hmmm... STAY AWAY FROM THEM!? Stupid kids. Got the badge in three tries. Next!
How hard is it to understand if you die, you are really hurting your team. Its like any DoTA inspired game, if you die; the other team gets more experience, and obviously you are not. So you end up being weaker then them. This even simplifies it, which makes getting killed that much worse because you have very few options to fix the problem then gang up on bad guys.
In the first place, Castle Wars was not even this guys game to begin with. The actual game goes far back to one of the old gaming consoles, I forgot which. Then it was remade as Ant Wars a couple of years ago. And simply by switching some names this guy stole it and made it castle wars.
As for the actual game. The "Difficulty" modes are absolute bull. The counters for resources are very lame, nowhere near as helpful as the first. And having to click on a button to read a card? What the hell?
Atleast he gave some effort by trying to make the game his this time, instead of shamelessly adding a different background and changing card names.
The sheer amount of red herrings is bull. I am having a amazingly hard time even getting 15 clues much less 21 with the 10-15 red herrings on all of the harder boards
Yeah, there are heroes all over, killing one gives you the zombie equivilent (Except MJ, who is hilariously already dead and just needs to be freed of his grave). Key thing to note is that Santa is only available in Nuunok and the North Pole
My only complaint is that its a shameless rip of disciples only a bit worse in that it has even less units and factions with little of what disciples actually was.
At first I thought it was weird, but its certainly a fun game once you get the hang of it. And the competition concept makest he game great, you seriously need to consider putting some of these ideas on Xbox Indie games
The game is buggy. but i must say that it does have potential. if only they would update the graphics a bit and release this on xbox arcade, i bet it would do well and people might actually pay for it
