lol.. I think there is a bug. even though the first mage I place does 12 damage and the second does 11, the second mage I place does more damage than the first mage even when I lvl up the first mage twice!
I was playing this again, and I realized if you hold down when you land, you slide forward at a speed and distance relative to the height you fell from. You can jump up and then slide into a spider.
0/5.. needs badges..
jk but seriously... you can't even tell when you've completed a mission. This could be spiced up by having unlockable weapons and missions and a cohesive story line.
there is an easy way to beat that snake. it is very frustrating to keep running around and have you fireflies snuffed out by the snake. but, the appearance of the fireflies is not dependent on your picking them up, just on your movement. So, you can run around avoiding the fireflies until the map is littered with them, then wait for the snake to go by and pick up all your fireflies in one try. There will be multiple fireflies in several different spots.
if you are stuck on the last level, be patient. just approach the boss slowly until you are only being fired on by one block at a time and then return fire in that direction. then you can destroy one block at a time, jumping away when you lose your shields.
I think the game is good. In order to master it, you have to multitask, using all the weapons on all your bunkers.
My personal strategy is two bunkers filled with super thumpers, and one with a time warp and a bunch of nukes.
Ok.. the untouchable badge doesn't account for shields.. I got hit once while shielded, never took damage, when I finished the small legion I didn't get the badge.
Even with unlimited storage there is a lot of lag. Considering that you need more control when there are more enemies on the scene, it feels like I'm fighting the lag and not the little blobs.
Hey.. level 1-3 is easy. Have an animal commit seppuku near the far end before you get the key, then jump and get the key, landing on the corpse of the animal and in jumping distance of the other side.
this is a good concept, but seriously, with the current control systems it feels like the real enemy is the A.I. of my own bots. Make it so you can select bots by a keypad number and tell them to move or attack with a single mouse click.
I beat it in three days... a really lucky first run, could purchase the level 3 eRocket then on the second day I got enough money to upgrade my launcher and band to top and made it to space on a straight launch.
