@lilariel
the melee guys are superflous? that entirely depends upon what you spend your skill points on, each of the characters have a unique role.
knight: with his shield and a few hit point upgrades, this guy will be almost impossible to take down, he is the tank, meant to take damage, not deal it.
king: it is not obvious, but the king is one of the top 2 characters in the game (priestess being the other), when maxed on damage he has the potential to deal as much damage as the rest of the party together. to demonstrate: thousand fist lv3 deals 15 damage at every enemy in adjacency, lets say it is 2 enemies (very common) thanks to brawler (+20%damage per adjacent enemy) the king would deal 15 + 15*40% = 21 damage at each enemy (42 total), killing the small demons or severly wounding the big ones.
3 enemies: 24 damage * 3 (72 total)
regarding the guard not noticing the hole in the wall, if you hover your mouse over him it explicitly says that he is very nearsighted, that is also the reason why he doesn't notice that you switched yourself out for a scarecrow.
this is an if:else statement.
IF the game is not speeding up, then this can continue indefinitely given you can control it. that would be bad.
ELSE if it is speeding up, the initial speed is so high that very soon (30 - 60 seconds at most) you will never be able to react on the new platforms in time. that would be bad since the game would then be entirely luck based instead of skill based.
uhmm, I can't press play, and according to the desription I have to "discover the secret keystroke that enables you to play", I say no, I will not bother searching for some specific key, good bye.
I'ts lagging for me when the camera moves, when the character moves by itself (i.e. is moving around in te middle of the sreen and not affecting the camera) hes moving easily but as soon as move anywhere where the camera auto-follows, it instantly looks like I have 2 fps, which is annoying.
level 28 was way harder than it needed to be, it was easy in every aspect except for one: jumping with the super jump buff over spiked enemies in tight spaces (referring to the bottom spiked enemy) screws over your jump timing horrendously, when you dont have the jump buff you have to run towards him and jump while he moves towards you, however, if you do the same thing with the jump buff you will ricochet of the ceiling and hit his spikes, instead you have to stand still while he moves towards you and then jump and move at the same time to get past him, thats the easiest way and it took me something like 20-30 tries before I did it, after I did it I finished the level on that same try. except for that lv 28, a very nice game, but not outstanding. 3.5/5
I can tell you have a code segment somewhere that opens the pausemenu that looks something like this:
if(Input.getKey("Escape")){
openPauseMenu();
}
it should be
if(Input.getKeyDown("Escape")){
openPauseMenu();
}
holy crap, after some tries I managed to do run 2 the hills and I even got the bonus coins by the end of the track!
honest opinion though, run 2 the hills requires perfection, i'ts almost stupid how little leeway you've got for mistakes. a misclick that causes an unnecessary animation can literally cost you the run.
current combo: 750
I placed two bumpers (those things on the floor) as my first things, then one shell , by accident, landed on it with a direction practically straight down, it has since then been bumped repeatedly into the ceiling.
current combo: 1684
could this be called a bug?
p.s. I havent even upgraded flow or anything, so I only hit 2 shells, one of which is now lying uselessly on the floor
