An auto-win feature when your ships are sufficiently more powerful compared to the defenders would be nice. Kind of tedious having to individually control every battle when my ships have 10000 attack and the defenders have 15.
I figured out what caused the stalled-building bug earlier. Sometimes when you use the 'e' hotkey then a number to quick promote a building, it promotes two buildings at once but the second one is free. Incidentally, I ended up with an impossibly high-level mine this way (29/5/40, with a one million percent chance of finding a gem each second). However, the second building (the one that glitch-promoted) does a 5-second building animation then just stalls while, I assume, the *actual* building clock ticks behind the scenes.
So this happened: http://i.imgur.com/CIurJbe.jpg I paid for an upgrade, then bought some construction accelerators for it to finish that timer, and now it just sits there doing nothing. Been that way for a few minutes now.
Suggestion: Rather than doubling one hero's DPS, have Divine Salve do something like 1.2x DPS to *all* heroes. Right now there is no reason to ever go above 10 heroes (for Kilroy), because it just decreases how often your active heroes get doubled DPS.
Autocast upgrades that reduce the mana generation penalty would be a nice later-game touch. E.g., one for 400 Qa that makes it a 40% penalty instead of 50%; one for 400 Qi that makes it a 30% penalty...
@Lazerus - open inventory, open characters (the two buttons on the right). click on the skill book, move it to an ability spot on one of your characters.
Anyone have advice on when to ascend for the first time? Currently have 11M inactive mutagen, 67k energy stored, and it would cost 74k to ascend. So I could do it in a couple hours, but I'm not sure if it might be better to hold off and get more achievements first.
+1 extractor is probably better in Silurian. +5 exchange rate only becomes more mathematically valuable late-game if you are exchanging the output from 20+ extractors to some other resource. Since you should be using (at least) 16 extractors on four main resources most of the game, that means you'd need at least 36 other extractors before the the exchange rate bonus became more valuable. 36 extractors is a mark you won't reach until the game is about to end anyways. They're both solid upgrades though.
Easy way to fit 6 extractors: Put one extractor on the very top-left corner. Put one extractor in the very bottom-right corner. Then just pair out on the sides. http://i.imgur.com/1B2yFiX.jpg
@DrZinthos - 701 exotic particles is a good point to switch over. That shouldn't take more than a couple hours, and will let you get every upgrade costing less than 5000 exotic particles (so it's 701 or 5701).
I pushed a mini update (no version number change) fixing that bug. If it still isn't fixed then.. rip.
