A lot of people did it before dan ball. As for which is better, that is a personal opinion and has to take into account that Flash is a POS when comparing it with Java.
a good plan but needs to more like a puzzle game that a platformer game 20 missed jumps is not a game for me. but i'm sure someone with better reflexes then my half blind 60+ body can do fine. the game has good stuff but not for me 5/5 anyway.
