Well, the Ahopalooses are certainly a metaphor for native americans. (It's fun the spoke in 1337 tho). I wonder if their folkhero (whino..something) is supposed to be a stand in for Wisakedjak (Whiskey Jack).
The 'bad god' room ending is a potent message of depression. I really empathize. Sometimes I too wonder what worlds I've failed to create... (Great job on this game, BTW!)
Thank you kindly Roeh :D Such a shame Antumbra doesn't gain much of spotlight over here on Kong :( this place changed so much... All I see now are casual games and "Cookie Clicker clones" getting any attention. Anything more ambitious then that just sinks under the stream... :(
To make a note - the game had #1 spot on IndieDB and is being feature on the frontpage of Newgrounds and Gamejolt. Yet here, it only has 1400 views and a low score of 3.2....
Anyone notice some of the adventurers names are 'borrowed' from differebt sources? For example, from the Dragonlance books: Raistlin and Lauranna. or the monks Jackie and Chan. Interesting..
