I checked the Ludum Dare competition and while your other game placed, I didn't see this one in the top 17 in either innovation or overall. Was it a different contest?
It would be cool to have an option to turn off 'discovery' animations that give elements you've already found. For example, if you already have 'sex', and try human+human again, it wouldn't do the animation and reset back to the top icons (if you had this option turned on). that would save going back and finding your categories you were experimenting with.
I'm sorry, but that opening poem is horrid. The rhymes are off, the vocabulary choice is just weird, and the meter is random and jarring. Oh, and the theme of the poem is generic and trite. I'm not generally so critical of thing, but gosh that was awful. Maybe it was translated from another language?
****ending spoiler**** the explanation text for the swaps is wrong. He says he swapped with the apprentice, and then apprentice and master swapped. But... going by the order you have to do to undo it in reverse, he actually swapped with the master first, then HE (in the master's body) swapped with the apprentice. If they swapped like he explains in the ending part, you'd be able to swap immediately with the prince's body (since that was the last one you inhabited). ((The master and apprentice's swapping would not matter, so they would still be swapped but that'd be irrelevant to you. ))
If you want to restore your previous save prior to an update, move the .sol file from the folder (stuff)\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0010\5290\live\Flagstaff_Chapter_One.swf to (stuff)
chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0010\5290\live\Flagstaff_Chapter_One_kong_secure.swf. ++ to keep this posted.
