Yeah, I played to get all the endings too. There's something 'more' going on here than just an AI simulation though, in my opinion. It could be argued that the whole 'past' are all simulated, albeit powerfully, allowing the AI's to re-write the user's personality (this happens in a lot of endings) - if the 'simulated' earpiece gets used by one of the AIs. However, the ending where the earpiece is damaged in the simulation and that damage is *maintained* in the real world... that implies something stranger is going on. For example, perhaps the device creates a small alternate reality, with the earpiece being the only object that exists simultaneously in both the real world and the created reality. (the user's mind is in the created reality, along with the AIs, etc.) This small pocket reality ceases to be if the big button is pushed, brining back whatever personality is in possession of the device back to the user's body.
I am enjoying this game but I wish it had a little bit more 'mouse over' info. For example, hovering over the units in the Stat Screen might give you each unit's type name - or hovering over an enemy wave tab in battle might tell you a little more info (HP, etc).
I enjoyed the theme of event horizon + cthulhu mythos deal. Just, so much more could have been done with that story setup. The monsters were fun looking tho
Fun game. Improve please: Leveling (too easy to accidentally click random while fighting), and Dashing (double hit l/r, z and c are awkward). Otherwise, very good!
