The trouble with 'Noughts and Crosses' is that once you know how to win, you either get draws or wins all the time - in this case draws for every game because the AI doesn't have a random element.
That's "too long". Sorry. (Just correcting my previous post, not going on negatively about the game.) I think the rabbits are cute - and they definitely shift. A more idiomatic translation would be "Run, rabbit, run".
This is a good game, but it would be even better if arrows could move once laid (until runtime!), if the screen reset with your previous layout instead of new, and if there were undo and clear buttons. I seem to spend to long just moving arrows to get timing sussed, and I grab the screen pic to remind me where I last put the arrows - but any computer game that makes me manually take screenshots is missing some interface features!
What a nice idea ruined by a very poor interface. I can't tell who I've got selected, I can apparently select immobile guys, actions form two long incomprehensibly sorted lines and are not in any way (e.g. group outline, or colour) to show where they change or what they cover, and you can select something that you can't afford or don't have the specialist for. It's a shame because it should've been fun, but I spend my time being frustrated and bewildered, and not even knowing if I'm getting close, because there is no level/wave indicator.
Sorry, I didn't realise that by putting up and down in arrows, I'd accidentally turned them into redundant tags. My comment was meant to say:
Shouldn't it be UP to shoot, not DOWN?!
ttursas - thanks, reset works fine, but it still keeps freezing every game -- it seems to be when I have to think a bit about the move - if I keep clicking fast it doesn't freeze. It doesn't seem to depend on having large groups on screen, just time taken to click -- is there some timebar that I missed?
Nice idea, but there were problems with pick up and placement with smaller objects (e.g. shoes). I was disappointed on completing the game to be thrown back to the start screen without any acknowledgement of my awesome achievement! ;)
