I'd also prefer it if there wasn't a walk function, and you just walked automatically to things out of range. A warning that hints are spoken would be nice - I play with the computer volume off, so I just thought the was broken.
It could do with an button, to avoid the tedium of redoing sequences of moves each time just to try out your next move - I often find it more fun to try than to calculate.
I like the game (I'm a sucker for gems) but I would like:
1) not to have to return to the gem box to place a second gem of the same colour.
2) to be able to rearrange the gems that I've selected to be in my guess.
Points for least guesses and a shop to buy even prettier gems in to replace those in my gem box might be nice but then, as I said, I'm a sucker for gems!
Nice game idea, with addictive qualities, but I second freak107 - I got bridge stub ends and alternative solutions that weren't recognised. (Check island connections against the island number instead of against a preset solution, then ALL solutions will be recognised.)
It would be nice if islands were coloured by their connections (e.g. yellow if too few, red if too many, green for exact - like Hexiom). And reset and pause buttons are a must, since it is timed.
Your English counties are way off -- Brighton is a city in West Sussex, and Plymouth is a city in Devon and doesn't include Cornwall at all! If you're going to create an educational game, then at least get your information correct!
The scoring is all wrong. If, for example, I guess 2 yellows and you know the solution has only 1 yellow then only one peg should be placed (black if either is in the correct place, white if neither). The scoring pegs should be indicators to position AND quantity.
Good fun. I normally just check out new games but I couldn't stop playing this so I completed it! I don't mind if there's a badge later - I'm happy to do it all again.
I moved to red 8 together and they blew up. When I move in the -ve direction for a lot of moves, the bubble often blows up (regardless of size) around the 5th move. These bugs make it worthless planning ahead. Shame, I agree with stern_keefer; there is a game in there.
I had a tile which I could only see the white corner of and, because there is no display of the currently selected tile, I had to click it in turn with every other tile to get a match. I then had another tile which is indicated as a match by the hint but which has no visible matching tile. Presumably the matching tile is hidden behind a huge stack and I can't see it or click on it. All that makes this game unplayable (or at least level 324 and any other layouts with tall stacks). Do you ever even playtest your games before releasing them? - this isn't even a bug, it's poor design.
