MORE TIPS: Skipping a week only skips one day (column) on the calendar. Petting your monster doesn't take up a day (you have activity points), but training or battling does. Money can be gained through battling or selling items. It can be used to buy lots of foods in the store, which are used to increase your monster's stats, or items for battles. If your stats are raised enough, you will rarely (if ever) use items.
A FEW TIPS: Items bought in the shops are one-use each. I believe that the battle-assists last throughout the battle and do damage each turn. You can drop more than one item into the SELL or USE buttons to use more than one at the same time. Foods bought for your monster that affects stats are only used if you eat them AND train (or battle?) afterward. They are added to the stats you gain from training (ex: +3 power and +20 defense). Completing the Grand Master Cup in August wins the game. Each skill maxes 500 (and in the case of Agility, may be MORE EFFECTIVE at 499 than 500). Using multiple foods will stack their effects. To get all of the trophies in the least amount of time, start doing championships ASAP, since they only come around once a year (with some exceptions).
Fun game that could be improved in a few simple ways. For one, I'd much rather be able to skip a month than a week. If I want to use up a day, I can do a training session. I'd also love some way to skip the results after a battle/training session. I KNOW I'm going to get 3 defense points and 10 experience points. Can I just double-click to get the Continue option? I also had trouble figuring out what playing with my monster did. Did it make a difference if he liked/disliked me? Also, the playing options didn't all work--the ball on the far left seemed to glitch every time. Lastly, the font was difficult to read. The faces on the people were sort of cute/funny, though.
This game is a harder version of Burrito Bison, with less money, worse grammar, and less instruction. On the plus side, I'm always up for an upgrades games (levels are a happy bonus) and the characters are ridiculous and funny. I don't think that makes up for the negatives, though... O.o
Great game! The pieces don't swing right sometimes. I mean, you pull one side and the whole piece moves instead of just that side swinging. It didn't bother me much, though.
The game's okay. Galaga on steroids. What it needs is, first a foremost, a new BUY button. Can't tell you how many times I hit "Continue" by accident on level 7 and died for it. Next, it needs a "restart level" button on the pause menu. This might be abused, but because of lack of aforementioned buy button, it's a necessity in my eyes. It's ridiculous to play through 8 levels over and over just because I hit the wrong button.
Great game, but it was a little awkward to use my mouse and the arrow keys. Perhaps being able to use WASD would help? There was also some kind of weird glitch where the control panel told me that I needed to unlock certain abilities even though I'd already done so. Great game, even so!
Would be 5/5 stars if money system was a little different. I found that it was hard for me to make very much money per game. Small thing, otherwise a terrific game!
Loved it! Solar-power didn't do as much for me as I would have liked, simply because I didn't go back up to the surface much. But I think that was the idea. Double-jump would have been very helpful for getting back up to the surface/getting that odd diamond that's above you.
For some reason, on later levels (like, 100-200+ people) I've experience this awful lag. The zombies will run around but I can't collect coins or grab squads to unleash. The countdown at the end of the level isn't slow, but the controls seem frozen.
