Game is fun, lots of loot, great difficulty spike. The levels can get a little bit repetitive. Was having great fun with this game until...
Decided to go for a run from floor 40. Going along, getting great gear, hit each shop and decide I don't need to go back to the town, I'll just continue along. Make it ALL THE WAY TO 80. I die because i forgot to buy more potions from the last shop. My bad. Figure I will go back on 70 or 80, and just brute force it.
But no. Gamemakers. I die and it turns out the game forgets all the levels/gear/time spent on that run. If i had used the angel wings, it would have been fine. But it seems a little dumb to punish some for not using the wings. Just a thought. Probably won't be playing again based on what happened.
at first fun, but becomes VERY frustrating with the later levels. You are forced to play through levels counntless times to get upgrades...which some expensive ones are entirely useless. The only reason to continue playing for some time is to get the last achievement. A chore of a game to find any fun in beyond the first 2 hours.
play this version, and then go play the last one. You'll see the difference. Some may think it's good that it's tougher, but it just seems like game design. I think they just tried to add too much stuff. Not very fun when you continue to die and lose all your money.
I actually found that jumping straight up and then pressing in the direction I want to go gives me the most control. For a platform game, this isn't really a positive thing. Could have been interesting, but the controls are spotty at best. I felt lucky when i beat level 22
love the game, but it needs to be fixed. Its frustrating as hell when the penguins get caught on a rock and simply won't switch agro. They get stuck and get pelted by bullets
it's difficult, but it was fun...for the first few screens. Once i got to the screen with the "you're just like your father" background, it just got too frustrating to continue. Super meat boy and even Skullface are both fun challenging platformers online. This needs some work, first with controls...making them more receptive, and making the screen bigger.
