HOW TO FIX CHROME SO IT PLAYS FLASH GAMES: go to about:plugins, expand "details", disable the Chrome-specific Flash plugin (under your user directory) and let it use the system wide one (under Macromed\Flash). Woohoo!
@racefan: Chrome is an extremely popular browser. Making sure you don't alienate your audience is a highly important part of developing a popular game. How hard would it be to test before release? How hard would it be to check back in less than 48 hours to notice that a large number of people are having problems? If he did check back, how hard would it be to post a message saying "Sorry, guys, I'll look into it right away?"
@Ddalziel: Comments like this prove you have no future in software. "It works for me, the other 50 people complaining must all be idiots" is no way to approach a situation.
@FI Graphics: BULLSHIT. I'm using Chrome 13.0.782.112 m (STABLE channel) and IT DOESN'T WORK. Even if it works on "beta channel", release of a game that is not working in STABLE channel is INEXCUSABLE.
OK, modification of my complaint about colors. The main problem is what apparently you guys see as "red" looks exactly like everything else. Once the blue and yellow powerups appeared, I could see them.
Plants don't "make decisions" at all. Their growth and behavior is entirely deterministic, based on their genes and their environment. There's nobody home.
