Every single one of your games has the comment "Nice! You could use a "next" button, though." Do you not read any feedback at all, or do you just not care?
Thanks for your comment, rubikscubefreak. We read every comment and suggestion and care a lot about all of them. We're also tuned to bug reports and released quite a few bug fixes along the way.
Alas, as much as we would like to add features and improvements mentioned by our fans, all our resources are still tied up on the iOS gaming platform which we started developing about 14 months ago. This is very frustrating to us and to our fans but it is the best we can do. Once we have available resources we will be able to make the changes in the game-flow, increase game sizes, and all the other great ideas brought up by many Kongregate users.
In the mean time we will continue using the current Light series platform which offers casual gamers a taste of the premium games available on Conceptis' website.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Honestly, my biggest complaint is that the bridge/object doesn't move until you release the mouse button. The game is great, but for some reason, that just drives me absolutely crazy.
My only complaint is that I find it a little bizarre that you require us to use the keyboard to advance to the next level, when you only need the mouse to do everything else. Otherwise, this is a great game, very unique.
You have a good basis here, but you need to add something else to make it more interesting. A goal, or add-ons to the cell. Just, something more than just shooting, consuming, and dividing.
It's so hard to know when you can actually "eat" other dogs, which is a bummer. Also, for future games, please put in a *real* mute button, that actually mutes everything. Also, I hate that I have to NOT pause the game to "mute" it...as in, I hate that the "mute" button becomes unavailable when you do pause it.
Whenever you choose an upgrade, and then get bumped back down a level, I wish you could choose a different path whenever you level back up. Other than that, awesome! The armor games exclusive stuff is sad, though. :(
The combo system seems rather buggy to me. I mean, I could write perfectly and super-fast, but with too much time between opponents, the combo is broken. It would make a lot more sense to me to have a combo system that is based off of skill, rather than simply timing it. For example, the multiplier goes up by one per enemy defeated, but the combo is broken whenever you type a wrong letter.
So, is it 48 Boxes, or 46 Boxes? And I totally don't get your logic on the name. It sounds like you're proud of the music, but every game needs a mute button. And a pause button.
If you're going to have the actual level not need the mouse, then don't require a mouse click to go to the next level. Just let us hit enter or something.
Awesome game, rather reminiscent of Four Second Frenzy. I did notice a glitch, though, on the blue level that's like Falldown, in the top left, sometimes the ball would ghost through the floors at higher speeds. Also, a number of the grid blocks didn't seem cropped quite properly.
Why do I need to click when it's only an arrow-keys game? I'd rather see it replaced by pressing Enter. Also, it'd be nice to have a way to distinguish the head from other blocks, and maybe have the target block be a different color. And I second Dogod, having the wraparound makes it too easy.
