My nerves and muscles are outclassed by level 46. Eleven thousand other people possess the speed and coordination to beat it. How in the name of Zeus do they do it. Totally mortified. Good game though obvs.
This game has a few problems for sure, but it was promising and it deserved encouragement. Instead, it was ground into the dirt. Totally unfair on this developer.
Very original and striking artwork. An intriguing game world. The sound track is really good as well. But it seems like a huge amount of creative effort for such a short story. I think there's scope to develop the story a lot further.
Yes sure I understand. Basically I'm just thinking the game deserves more attention, and cool graphics would attract more players. I most definitely would not want you to get bored but maybe you could find a visual designer to collaborate with. The right person should see it as an amazing project.
This is a fun and challenging puzzle, but it needs some work on presentation. A minimalist logic game ought to have an appealing visual design. This game looks okay, but with a more polished design it could have looked fantastic. Also the name Addlock sounds very much like Adblock. You should find a new, original and distinctive name for your new, original and distinctive game. :) 4/5
I agree the name is terrible, I was thinking padlock but soon after I launched the game I realized it sounded more like adblock. I will probably change it with the next update (if possible.) As far as presentation goes: I am worse with visual design than I am at naming games. It is something I really need to practice but I find it very tedious. I will ask around for help and ideas but it could be a while before you see improvement in that area.
Seems to me you're being treated very harshly while some other devs get away with murder, so I asked Kongregate about their rules. http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/559953-a-question-about-kongregates-rules
When you submit a game it does require to check the box that you don't have external login. So it is fair that the game is being removed. I submitted it anyway because I saw some other games on Kong with the external login system, but probably the games were from Y8 too and the moderators didn't care because these games didn't have high rating.
Mournful about the loss of this great game. No point in saying much more on a page which is going to disappear so I posted on your profile. All the best.
@Balbanes Er, no. Game nerfing is never a good thing. Massive hint: perhaps it's not the best strategy to always start building your towers near the entrance.
A good game with some major flaws. It doesn't provide nearly enough information about minions and where to find them. Luckily the wiki does though - check out minhero.wikia.com. To get past floor 5-1, get a Tortastone or Sumole, team it up with fire and demonic minions, and keep on restarting until your tank is not shielded and can do its job.
For people wanting the hard badges, I recommend the following. Get all the Mage skills, then top up with Silence, Disease and extra MP from Demonic. Spend all souls on maximising your MP. If the enemy is too strong to one-hit with Phoenix, always keep them silent so they can never regenerate or silence you. If the enemy has very high HP, start off with Disease, Blast Shield and Regenerate, whittle away all their MP, then finish them with Phoenix * 3. For sieges, you only ever need basic troops, catapults and (later on) the dragon. Finally, never attempt the third tournament until you have built shrines everywhere.
It's great that you can move units around between waves and in mid-battle, but the incredible amount of clicking and confirmation required to do it is not so great. Aside from that, there's a lot to like about this game.
Feudalism II was an elegant game with stylish and beautiful artwork, and enjoyable gameplay. Literally the only things that needed fixing in it were the drag-and-drop selection mechanism and the battle speed. Feudalism III is... no I won't go on. But it's sad.
