The limited "word list" needs replacing with an actual dictionary. Also, trying to guess a specific word against the clock is fun, but it shouldn't be the only mode in the game. I'd also like the option to play untimed with the aim of finding as many words as possible.
There is actually a pause button! It's the hot key P. Was it there all along? It hides the game though so you'll need a screen grab if you want to use it for game planning.
This game is set up to be an elite challenge. For me the slowest setting is too fast to fully solve even medium levels. An option of a pause button would open the game up to a lot more players.
The logic puzzles are fun. The static design looks great. But the constant rotation makes me queasy, no kidding, and the ball-dragging is a pain. Reimplement the game without those features and I'd give it 5/5.
The art is amazing. The game is really stylish and likeable. I think the reason you've got only mediocre ratings is that after a few levels the game's impossibly difficult.
Interesting and original. The biggest flaw is that you don't find out what is required to win each challenge until after you've placed your bet. There's always going to be a large element of luck and guesswork, but that's just plain unnecessary.
Great graphics, great 20s jazz music. A very stylish little game that just needs a little more development, like upgrades or skills. Your work is appreciated and admired! Please come back to Kong, polish up your wonderful games, and make a few more.
These are easily the funniest, cleverest games on Kong. It got to the point where simply looking at the layout of each new level made me laugh. You've created your own comedy genre! Also, the animations and music are priceless. I can't wait for the 4th game.
@Shashakiro, there is a clue on level 16. Not only is your alternative word pretty obscure, unlike the correct answer, it has no relationship to the clue.
Well balanced, fun and relaxing. The thinking cap mode lets you play without the annoyance of a ticking clock. Nice little features like the penalty-free letter shuffle, plenty of vowels, and real-time predictive scoring. Great! 5/5
Level 3 is fun and until you get there, you won't appreciate the game. I'd suggest halving the length of level 2, and reducing level 1 to a quick tutorial.
I love the artwork and the atmosphere, but I've run into a brick wall. I've found several objects and have gotten into the house, but I can't figure out what to do next. Most of the scenes don't appear to lead anywhere, or yield any further objects. I'm disappointed because I would have loved to play the whole game. It needs a couple more visual hints and clues.
I love the way this game gives you awards, even when you're doing really badly. It's very motivating. I also love the comments as the game progresses. Very amusing and fun game. Thanks Gaby. :)
Before playing the Child of the Witch series I'd never really enjoyed playing spot the difference games before, but these ones were perfect. The story telling was amazing. Whoever drew these illustrations is a bit of a genius.
The illustrations are extremely original, beautiful and interesting. But unfortunately, searching through 32 pages for tiny differences detracts from the enjoyment of the artwork. I'd really like to encourage the developer to think up an alternative style of game based on this type of art. Perhaps more complex and diverse puzzles or maybe something with a narrative or a mystery. Perhaps some collaboration would be a good idea.
That headsplitting noise when the game starts - oh my Lord. Pure, physical pain. What in heaven is that noise, and what kind of person would start a game with it? I really do wonder about the developers of this game.
