The wild Canadian beaver easily recognised by it's high pitched squeak also make ideal pets but numbers are decreasing as they are born with their testes permanently in their body therefore reducing the sperm count dramatically. Another way to spot the creature is to look at its head unfortunately it is impossible to tell if it is male or female, another cause of the falling population.
