*Sat there next to a bombsite on Mission 15, watching a door with 2 enemies behind it.*
Me: "Right! Let's be tactical here. We'll all assemble in positions so that next turn, we can destroy the door, and the dudes behind it!"
*Ends turn*
*Enemy dude A tosses a grenade straight THROUGH the closed, perfectly intact door which lands next to the bomb. Enemy dude B snipes and kills my dedicated medic, also straight through the door. They end their turn and the grenade goes off, destroying the bomb and making me fail the mission*
Me: ...
Another game featuring overpriced hats!? A recurring trend nowadays, but seriously. 20 bucks for 5 hats is 4 bucks a hat. Nobody's gonna buy that because it's just too expensive.
I really REALLY despise this game for one reason and that is that I can't switch weapons while reloading, or interrupt a reload. I can clear the screen of zombies and then go to reload when a swarm of runners comes at my already busted barriacade. Oh gosh, zombies at my barricade?! Better not whip out my chainsaw. I should continue to pedantically reload my submachine gun.
Look. The alien campaign isn't hard, it's frustrating. You could be playing really well and your dumbass teammates will keep walking into the numerous landmines and diving into 3v1 situations and just give their team kills. Teammates really need an upgrade available.
Sure, the game has a pay to win aspect and this could be easily at LEAST toned down a little. The devs could, for instance, make extremely expensive (At least 10,000 vouchers) voucher equipment, such as wings, which is slightly weaker than the balen counterpart. Additionaly, balens are extremely overpriced, putting a lot of people off buying them. The game could make a lot more money if they were cheaper. Finally, a ridiculously expensive balen alchemy - even if it is just during events. Say, 1 million + gold / 10 balens. This would mean that a last hit on a world boss would earn you 15 balens. This would give us something other than astrals to spend money on, as good as astrals are, a player gets frustrated when he blows all of his money on astrals and receives no oranges. Something else to spend it on would tone that grindy feel down a bit too, not that grinding is bad, but it's an idea.
What is the threat with these zombies? They leap onto the back of my schoolbus and when it stops, they just hang there! Why can't we live in harmony? If they were evil, they would surely have taken the opportunity to rip a hole in my head there and then, or when I was pushing my schoolbus back to the checkpoint up stupidly steep cliffs and through wreckage.
Needs a category when sorting items called 'pvp power' Items with bonuses are not particularly better than those without, so an order of which items give the most power would save a lot of trial and error
The name endless war 5 is misleading, this is more of a remake of endles war defense where you control the vehicle rather than set up defenses. Maybe a new name is in order?
I think the campaign needs a squad customization system (As in, their equipment.) I can't stand how my squad use random weaponry- The assassin with a melee, though he does insane damage, has horrible AI, and the commando with a rocket destrous himself more often than not, so customization would be nice. And btw, I'm not berating the game or its producers because the game itself is very well done and already features lots of great stuff. Still 5/5
Here is a very good strategy for capture the flag missions: Play the assassin with the smoke grenade killstreak. Earn it, then grab their flag and use it to escape. With any luck, you'll be in safety and should be able to return the flag safely.
@Howdouplay I used the Dragon on the medic, immediately captured A and B and then camped in front of A, and shot anyone near b. They very rarely managed to capture it.
I love how seriously smooth the combat is, how the game has comic appeal and how the storyline is actually half decent, as well as the masses of customization. Unreal Flash had the first point, Raze had the first and third, and a bit of the fourth but this game takes the cake. Great job :)
I think people just don't grasp the conecept of games like this. Seeing the name and picture for the game, they probably believe it to be some epic hack'n'slash RPG, or one at least with movement involved. Casual games are there to give you some buttons to press while you wait for someone to respond on facebook or something. I don't know, look it up. Just so we *Hopefully* get no more idiotic coments (Yes, I'm looking at you, neert3mpler) Heed this warning- THE GAME IS NOT REALLY A GAME, IT'S A BUNCH OF PRESSABLE BUTTONS. And it's a good game that I have nothing against and put a lot of time into playing, despite how negative that sounded. Yeah, go away now trolls.
I think I just got scammed out of 50 kreds. Bought 500g with 50k's, confirmed the transaction. Checked my gold balance and it was the same as before. Refreshed the page, still no change. Checked my Kreds balance, definitely transacted properly. Tried buying an item I should have been able to afford. Nope. The moral of the story? Dun buy Gold with Kreds...
