There's the core of an entertaining game here, but with the grindingly long period of time it takes to actually play each level (worse because you can't just walk away from the keyboard - you have to hit the button every time) and the limited resources you get from each play it's just not worth the time to try to advance. Give it a much higher speed multiplier (say, 10), and an autosend toggle, and fix the bug so that endless modes actually give you as many resources as they say they do, and it might be worth playing. Without that, it's just pain.
For suggestions, let us buy cheats for the skill challenges. I'm pretty good at high-speed mental arithmetic, and the 50-in-a-row quest at the school is still basically impossible for me. Likewise, the seal-whacking game makes it arbitrarily difficult to rack up particularly large combos, especially on a laptop. I don't have a problem with their difficulty as an exp source. It's just that having an achievement or quest that's simply not achievable is frustrating. Suggestion would be to allow various focused upgrades - perhaps giving more time for the school (or slowing the level increase) - perhaps reducing the number of holes for the seals. Make these things expensive - the higher level players seem to want things to sink money into. Perhaps a black market location, with a penguin in a trenchcoat selling "unfair advantages" under the table. I just want to know that if I want to grab these achievements, it'll at least be possible some day.
A couple of bugs: first, if you have money in the bank, and interest waiting to be claimed, but instead of claiming interest, you withdraw all, the bank turns off. Specifically, you can no longer get the bank to give you interest. Second, the autocooker turns off when you run out of snails, and does not turn back on again once you get more. This may or may not be a bug, but if it's not a bug, then the fact that you have to turn off the autocooker before you can turn it back on again once that happens probably is one.
