Since you buy the Steam version, I'm not even sure you could get the badges if you bought this game. I'm not certain (because I'm broke as a joke), but I think you buy the Steam version, not an expanded version here on Kongregate.
@Bobogoobo The tutorial levels will give gold upon completion, but the other levels in the game all require you to complete them on hard mode to get a gold trophy. Completing a non-tutorial level on normal mode will only give silver trophies.
I'm going to be honest with you here. It's bad. It's close to being decent, but right now... No. What you should do is scrap the Kred store (at least for now), add more levels, work on stability, and rebalance the damage buff. Right now, levels are either trivially easy or impossible and it all depends on if you roll for damage. My opinion to fix this: Remove damage from the roulette and make it permanent, but a little weaker. Increase powerup strength to compensate.
There's something to be said about a whole bunch of zombies indiscriminately killing everybody and yet the island's kingdoms still can't come together to stop them. I'm playing with the intent of clearing out the zombies and the bots are all like "THAT'S MY LAND! YOU'RE GONNA DIE!"
Seems like all the badges for this game are broken. I previously had to submit a missing badge claim for I'm In and now As A Hacker isn't marking as complete. I haven't tried the other two, but I'm willing to bet they're broken as well.
Hi Sarah, thank you for the report, I'm looking into this with Kong! I'll make sure to update this comment as soon as we figured out what the issue is.
The hard badge is really simple to cheese. Start a multiplayer game, have one bot on easy and disable players joining in. Find a vehicle and run into them. You may have to do multiple hits to actually kill them.
Okay, so, I've been playing this for a little bit and I'm pretty sure level 69 is impossible. The switch gate can't be raised up high enough so it doesn't make for a smooth ramp down to the goal. As a result, two bonbons always end up getting stuck.
As a game, it's pretty alright. Not really much to say either way, good or bad. However, the monetization method... Oh boy. I haven't seen you guys screw it up this bad ever. I'm not paying you for more lives and I doubt most other people will, either.
So, despite not liking this game way back when, I still stuck with it long enough to get the Lucid Dreamer badge for completing the final quest in the main story. That put me somewhere around 2500 monster kills. You're seriously telling me I need another 997,500 to get the Impossible badge? WHY?!
Okay, so I finally got the Impossible badge. You'll have to start doing some real damage to the third boss to get it. The magic guild helps a lot, but you have to go guildless until the third area to join. Best of luck!
@Zorblak Yes, since you can't leave a guild without resetting your game. Make sure you can kill the second boss easily enough so you don't hit an unexpected wall. I've made that mistake enough times.
Ugh, great, it's 4 in the morning and the game actually works. I feel like I have to do it all in one sitting now or risk never getting to play this game, even though I don't like it.
@larry898 When you kill a boss (the big skull on the top-right side of the screen), you are capable of advancing to the second area. Do this again to reach the third area and unlock the magic guild. Keep in mind, however, that once you advance to a new area, you can't go back to a previous one without resetting your game.
When the top five comments for a game are people saying that the game won't load for them, the oldest of which is a month old, and there's been no word from either Kongregate or Magmic about it... That's when you know that there's a serious problem with this site.
@KeeperBvK My personal opinion is that it's not worth it. It seems like you're better off getting as far as reasonably possible before resetting. Besides, you're limited to one free attempt per minigame per day, so it's not like you can grind them like you can the main game.
@KeeperBvK Minigames give you a 1% bonus to either gold or damage per milestone reached, depending on which minigame you play. Each attempt adds a 1% bonus per milestone reached instead of it being based on your high score. (Example: If I play Gold Rush twice, get a high score of 5 and score a 3 on another attempt, my gold bonus is 8% additional gold from all sources.)
