For single-use powerups, please let us buy them in bulk. I don't want to have to click the button and watch the upgrade happen every single time I try to buy them en masse. Whether you do packs of 5, 10, 100, or (preferably) let us enter an amount we want to purchase at one time.
@aefields Every gomphus has one elemental weakness (except for the base version, which has all five), which means that it will do less damage against monsters of that type. "Nullify element weakness" removes the penalty for using the wrong element type against a monster. You'll still do more damage for using the correct type.
Okay, so I found that this game does indeed work on the Armor Games website. Bad news is that I don't know how (or even if) you can transfer your save file so that it will be registered by Kongregate for badges. If someone smarter than me can figure that out, please, please get back to me.
I'm not usually extremely critical of games I play here, but this has got to be one of the worst games ever uploaded to Kongregate. The sheer amount of luck that you need in a puzzle game is catastrophic.
Did a size 6 in 3:03, then floundered around all day without getting anywhere near that, then the next day, I finished a size 6 in 2:23 for the impossible badge. NEVER GIVE UP!
Adding to what Sagadragon has said below, if you're going for the impossible badge, do NOT grab the shield powerup. Since getting hit at all, even with the shield, invalidates your achievement attempt, the shield only serves to increase the size of your hitbox, making you an easier target.
Wait, can I really not unlock the third bonus song without doing a 1000 combo? That seems like a massive leap in difficulty from unlocking the other two...
I hate this game. And I hate that I hate this game, because I love your other games. This one... just doesn't feel right. It's grindy (and not even a fun grind) and sluggish. As people pointed out, "end now" makes things WORSE for you since the bots just finish right then and there.
After just having finished the hard badge myself (which should actually be an impossible badge!), I can confirm that Sagadragon's strategy is good if you aren't able to get all the achievements. If you do manage to get them all, including Gangster Corp, you can try my strategy which was level 4 tires and bumper, 1 adrenaline shot, and 0 everything else. Be careful, because although you may take a lot more punishment than you normally would be able to, your steering is going to suck. Best of luck on getting one of the hardest badges on the entire site!
I have to wonder why the 10 million point requirement is part of the Impossible badge... I'm at 9.1 million points on Thunderstorm and I still have 10 levels left to complete.
