Um, OK, this makes a lot of sense. I use the key I have in my inventory to try and open the doors, and am told that's not going to work; OK, so what is? A key. Oh, OK, sure...
I found another typo for you, Dev. In the weapons shop, after the kid finds another bird and his older brother asks why they're in danger, you wrote, "lunno..." but it should be, "dunno..."
3/5 because 1 of the stars was very difficult to see, as was one of the discs. If not for the walkthrough (thank god it's still working!) I would never have been able to finish it. Great concept, fun to a point, but frustrating if you don't have PERFECT vision!
OK, where the hell is the snail king? A map of the various areas and where to find things would be nice! This is why I hate games like this. I'm covering all the same areas over and over and over again and not making any progress!
Those are all good points! To answer your question the Snail King is located on another island which is located below the Residential areas. Also returning to this game I'm really noticing it can definitely be tricky to find out where to go. I've also been working on a couple of other games that definitely have maps and more features, but unfortunately I wasn't able to upload one of those ones here. D: (I've also been working on a more put together version of this game that at this point seems like a remake.)
There is either a bug with the Paralyze All Enemies spell, or it's mislabeled. It's says to paralyze all enemies, but then makes the castor pick a single enemy. Please look into and fix this!
Finally figured out that you have to hit the spacebar to exit the boat. UNFORTUNATELY this also causes the page to scroll down. Please just make it possible to exit the boat when you hit land! Scrolling down after hitting the spacebar gets completely irritating!
Also, never forget that if you need the walkthrough, and code numbers are involved, do not assume that the numbers in the walkthrough are going to be the same as in the game. That's one of the beauties of esthetix games. You still need to go through the puzzles/boxes/etc. yourself. The walkthrough only shows you HOW to do something.
Definitely an interesting game, but almost impossible without the walkthrough. Thankfully it still works, so thank you Dev for that! So many people's games' walkthroughs don't work anymore.
3/5 because without the written walkthrough by one of the players, I never would have known to get keys, let alone what to use them on as nothing had visible locks on them! Everything was just a guessing game. Including once the items were removed from the cabinet and new ones put in their place. I did everything and the baby didn't show up. I didn't know that I needed to click on the skull! Had potential, but was extremely frustrating because of the continual confusion!
Well, I'm stuck, and the walkthrough doesn't seem to exist anymore. 1/5 for very confusing and poor execution of a game. The rabbit is limping, and I can't get the key out from under the rock because it keeps smashing me. Not sure what it is I'm supposed to do now, but this is just ridiculous.
