Game says it's loading, but it doesn't load. I'm not concerned about the supposed copyright issue, since if that were the case, none of the Pacman and Ms. Pacman and Donkey Kong games on this site would be in violation, and they're not, so why would this be? It's a moot point anyway, since the game doesn't even load. 1/5
This is WAY TOO difficult to get through. I've been repeatedly killed on level one. If you want more people to play this, make it easier to get through the levels! I grew up iwth Donkey Kong, Pacman, etc., and the original Donkey Kong wasn't this difficult! 2/5 is my vote for this game.
I'd like to add (directed to the developer) that it would be nice to be able to change lures. I don't know. Maybe add a bait shop where you can buy a new rod, and bait or lures, and you base the purchase off of how many fish you've caught. So, like, you start out with live worms for free, and after you've caught some fish, say you have a total weight of 1,000 pounds. Maybe a basic lure is worth 500 points of that 1,000 weight, so then you could buy two lures, or one lure, and save the remaining weight points against additional fish you catch. Maybe a better rod would be worth, 10,000 points, etc., etc., etc.
Great game as it is, but it would be nice if Kongregate would add badges or challenges or something. Like, "Get "x" badge for catching 20 fish in "x" minutes." Or, "Get "x" badge for catching three fish of "x" length." Or, "Get "x" badge for catching "x" amount of fish with a total weight of "x." So, as you can see, there's all kinds of possibilities for making badges for this game. Please consider it!
Too short of a game. Has a lot of potential, but as someone else said, when you try to multi-task, the clicks won't always register, and it therefore causes you to get behind in tasks. As a result, you lose time and crops and products go bad before you can get the character to do what you already tried to tell it to do.
There are other games like this out there, that are better. 3/5
Not real crazy about this version. I really disliked the dots resetting after I died in level 2, and then in the middle of the level (level 2) everything stopped, and it jumped to level 3. Not a great version of a classic that I grew up on.
Interesting version, but there seems to be an issue with the F1 key. When I pressed it, all it did was bring up a window about Internet Explorer. So, due to that, I had no way to pause the game or get the instructions. It would be nice if you could just hit the "p" key to pause (which is what most games use).
Well, this game was going great, until an information bubble popped up on the screen. There's no way to make it go away, because the "OK" button is beneath the accessable window. The window needs to either be made bigger, or with a "scroll" button so that everything can be accessable. Because left as it is, the game essentially freezes and becomes unplayable. You can't even click the "menu" button to make the info button go away. More thought needed to be put into this game and its accessability. So, whereas I would have given this game a four or a five in rating, because of this problem, my rating for it now drops to a 2.
Great game! Easy enough to get the hang of, but challenging enough to keep you coming back! I just wish there were badges for this game. Also, as someone else said, it would be nice to be able to retry the level after you get a medal, especially if you only got the bronze and wanted to go for the higher medals.
I love PacMan, Ms. PacMan, etc., but this game is really hard to manuever with the arrow keys, and this version was just made too difficult to get very far on. So I was left with no choice but to give it a low rating.
