Update: Weapon ticket purchase is now permanent (since Aug 4). At the same time, it would be nice to hear more from you and other players on exactly what does and doesn't work - and why. We're listening and doing our best to improve the game for everyone. Hopefully this works for your psychology, you can now buy cool weapons. Thanks!
I wish my mage spells actually did enough damage to matter. INT is through the roof, but the only spell that has any effect on the enemies seems to be frost, and that is no better than just shooting the baddies with my weapon. What happened to awesome fireball and lightning?
This game makes my computer lag at least 3 times a song. This kinda makes it unplayable. This is odd, since I've got an OK rig that rarely lags otherwise.
With all sincerity, I really can't see anything redeeming in this game. There's nothing to figure out, nothing to be proud of, no strategy or tactics. Well, the art is pretty nice, but aside from that it kind of flummoxes me. Honestly, I don't get it. If you do, maybe you can explain?
On Level 8 Adventure, it wants me to have 12 mushrooms at the end of the level, but there are only 9 there. Seems like an odd bug. When I looked at the walkthrough, the badge wanted 9, but I swear it wants me to do 12.
a) I agree the area is too small.
b) needs autofire. my finger is tired.
c) why make the medkits go up in price as you level? just, why? don't try to force me to buy them early.
You might want to tweak level 19 a little bit. It's really difficult to get the platforms lined up just so, and took me many tries. Then, I finally got it. BUT, the bowling balls didn't get all of the refs. This caused a ragequit. I might be able to get back to it in a few days, but waaaaaay too frustrated now.
My only problem is that it really needs a dedicated retract button. I have yet to figure out with consistency what to press to retract and what will just make me move some more.
They should call these "Papa's cookie cutter." Giving one stars to these from here on out. They are all the same. Quality could be a 4 or 5, but originality is a minus 5.
I'm a little conflicted. On one hand, it's a well-executed racing game with beautiful retro graphics and an innovative mechanic (smash some cars, whuh?) On the other hand, the money was never enough to buy the cars I wanted to try, while at the same time I never needed anything beter than the 5th car to win the game. Some rebalancing may be in order.
