1: Start building five war machines 2: Press space bar 3: Press space again when they are all finished. You just succesfully ruched and owned your enemy. Cangratulations!
Best way to keep heavy fire on: Put two melee units(Club man, knight, etc.), and then a long attacker(Slingshot, Rifleman, etc.)
Try to always use fully automatic turrets, and NEVER use close range turrets, they don't work well.
Save your ability for the end of the age when your opponents sends about 4 or 5 of the ages strongest units.
When you get to the final age just build heaviest turrets, and then send two super soldiers.
Easy strategy: In Africa, stay on the same first few cities and get a lot of money. ONLY upgrade collection pixels, penetration, number of click(IF you still only USE one of them),attack and damage resistance. When they are both full, upgrade the others. The reason for damage resistance and attack is that they make no difference to civilians, so later on when there is military you already have an advantage, but while in Africa you do not just dominate the cities and you can still make money. I know this is a bit boring but the game is also about as repetitive anyways, might as well pwn the military, right? Also it's a good way to earn money for other upgrades.

best strategy: 1:choose men of the west 2: send swordmen in wherever they attack. 3: send scouts around the enemies holes in their line 4: when enough scouts get through, you will earn a charge 5: send swordsman or if you have them longswordsman in a charge, followed by regular swordsman and scouts to rush in with it
everyone is saying " its so hard to win before space age." i have won on the religous age, so dont complain. and 4 ion cannons is a choice you can make, but most people dont, they just use a super soldier or two.
this game is awesome i love Run-'n-gun that song is so fun. and the guitar vs. piano i love guiitar but if u listne to the piano part the guitar got pwned. just sayin
