Game isn't as fun as the 2nd one. Getting all the skill upgrades would take a long time. Awards are too time consuming. Protector 2 had more strategy involved. Concept is great.
Hard badge can be easily obtained on the third track with tacks (more the merrier), and a couple and monkeys placed correctly. Start with monkeys, place at the top of map, make sure you upgrade both, and have one aim at the last balloon, then put a monkey at the bottom near the exit area somewhere, then add a third monkey at the top, then start adding tacks in strategic corners (not at the corner but at the middle). Upgrade the tack to full. Put another monkey at the bottom just in case, and then put tacks at strategic corners (fully upgrade them of course). Remember that lvl 15-20 somewhere in there, you'll have to get a cannon, or else lead balloons will kill you.
Level 9: Make sure from lvl 1x - ~34, you save money and get interest. The key to winning the last mission is having a lot of elementals and manticores and vampires (if you gang up on the last guy with lots of units, he can kill them quick, but they respawn faster, so he'll just be stuck in the map fighting, and you'll eventually wear him down)
Stupid game: 1. doesn't tell you where to go, so the game has no point.
2. screen is too small, too easy to click off
1/5 stars... and I rarely give under 3/5
