My only issue with the game would be the AI. It doesn't seem to get tough enough (recognizing situations where I can do very little and so it should just go ahead and attack all out). It seems to apply nonsensical modifiers (a defensive wall that is unblockable and penetrating?).
By the way, I verified that this happens on all three CPU difficulties. It's going to be hard not convincing us it's rigged if it's actually rigged. :)
It is hard, but I don't think the real complaint is just the difficulty. If it were obvious what would kill you, and if silly things like brushing a wall didn't kill you, I think it would be fine.
The idea and atmosphere are golden, but the implementation is quite flawed in my opinion. Avoiding a trap once you've learned of it (or just suspect it) is fun. Dying because your wing brushed the edge of the world is not.
