It addicting and requires a certain calm focus. But check the scores... unless this game changes midway through, Gold Yoshi cheated somehow or found a glitch. Sorry, but that score isn't possible the normal way.
For the first, I don't know, 20-, 30-odd levels, this is one of the better games I've played on Kongregate. After that, it becomes pointless. I'd like to see a constant stream of new enemies and a difficulty curve that eventually kills you off. As it is, an hour into it I had to try very hard to kill my eight lives, which wasn't easy, even when I resorted to flying around backwards seeking impact. So, a good start of a game: 4/5.
Just make the timer longer, or giver better bonuses for clearing space. The harder levels, you can clear a massive area and get very little time added, then lose. Go back and play the 9-Ball game released here a few weeks ago; it suffers from the exact same problem.
OK. I've played this for a few days, long enough to get a good feel for it without making rash judgments ... and I like it ... but please take some of these comments into consideration. It deserves much longer gameplay than it allows, and suffers from the same problem from the recent 9-Ball game here: the timer is way too quick, preventing any sort of strategy in harder levels. Again, great concept, but definitely needs tweaking -- and soon!
I'm finding some of these high scores hard to believe. Please upgrade this game! It is so close to being one of the best I've found on this site, but it needs tweaking.
Sometimes this thing does combos when I'm not ready for it to. Work on that, please. I really want this game tweaked bec. I think it'll be my favorite.
In principle, I love it and am already somewhat addicted. I agree it goes by too long and needs powerups. I also think sometimes it forces me to a chain I'm not ready to commit to. I'm not through testing this one out, but you're onto something good. 4/5, close to being a 5/5 with improvements.
Great game, but really, really hard. Think I got to level 13? Then near impossible to keep up w. spiders while keeping track of ammo. Probably good for the brain somehow, the balancing act.
Can't say it's one of my favorites. 1. Why can't you toss a pizza back in th oven if you accidentally click on it and pull it out? 2. In a real situation, if someone had a longer order, you'd give someone else a quicker order first. This has a problem allowing you to prioritize customers. Not bad, just not thrilling.
