I don't understand why poomi's comments has thumbs up? Sure, Epic War 5 is in beta, but they say they're in beta because of bugs, and to add "minor changes", which won't be enough to bring it up to the level of the previous epic wars... But if it were a standalone game, it wouldn't be considered so bad anyway...
I liked it, but the difficulty curve seemed way outta whack, maybe its just coz I'm tired but man, i breezed through the first 7 levels, died once on the eighth level, beat the ninth first try and then was destroyed by the boss again and again before i had even landed, i couldnt get him below 3 lives. Also, I didn't like the idea of the dematerializing weapon, it was practically a quickdraw game, no arena required... However, overall, the game gets a solid 4/5 from me.
I really enjoyed the game, i thought the puzzles had impressive aspects, even if they were a little easy, and i wish there had been more levels to play around with. Fantastic soundtrack, and i enjoyed the style of the game. A definite 5/5, and I would favourite if only the game were longer, as there is no replay value. However, please make more.
im trying to take down elder gornash on the hardest difficulty, any hints? he has these red floating blighters that shoot fireballs and hit every unit in range, and akes down giants in 3 hits and they have a fair amount of health, i dont seem to be able to beat them unless i happen to draw a legendary, or use my entire army... any tips on how to beat these?
I found that just crashing the bird as fast as possible in the flying game was faster to gain exp than going as far as possible, because of how much the bird slowed down... other than that, good game, 4/5
Well... I thought it was okay... not spectacular... I think that the camera movement slowed down the game too much, so the game couldnt keep me interested past the first few levels.
took me ages to beat the 2nd to last level, although admittedly i was messin' around a little bit, but i beat the last level in about 15 seconds... too easy
