This controversial and critically acclaimed game by Jomomomo studios harkens back to great games from the past. If you've enjoyed games like Civilization, The Legend of Zelda, Pitfall, Super Metroid, Sonic and Knuckles, and Final Fantasy VI, you're sure to enjoy simUniverse. "Fast paced" doesn't begin to describe the action in this game, decades go by in the blink of an eye, but don't blink you don't want to miss a moment of the stupendous visuals. The graphics in this game are a great benchmark for computer performance, if your machine isn't up to snuff you may just see a white dot and the current year. The musical score in this game was clearly influenced by some of the greats from the eight bit era, flashbacks to Megaman 3 fill my mind as I listen. The controls are intuitive and compliant, and the gameplay is smooth. Jomomomo studios is a great new game producer, if you haven't checked out their other games, be sure to give Petrie-Dish Survival a try.
This is an amazing game. The first four levels are a little slow, but after that when you start getting power-ups, watching cut scenes, and unlocking hidden game modes (my favorite is the multiplayer collaborative mode) the game really picks up.
I like sense of urgency in this game. If you take too long to complete it, your browser crashes. Great feature, very edgy.
