I really loved the game, the only thing I could ask for are some QoL improvements. For instance linked storehouses or even better a new schematic that would allow you to build linked teleportation portals late game would be pretty cool since having to travel 2 maps and back to recharge your batteries before you can continue exploring the magic island gets tedious fast. Also it would be great if we could feed our pets food from our storehouse while we were in town, I'd even prefer having to build something over having to go through all the menus. Moving on, being able to scroll and (un)zoom the map would be really helpful especially on the maze map. Finally., I think the weight part of the skill tree might need some rebalancing. As it stands, maxing it out would take 920 skill points for 100 extra weight when the jetpack has carry 200, which makes it unreasonable even for a packrat like me. Having the cost be fixed and/or the weight gain be % based would make it scale better late game.

Teleportation portals are already possible in the early access version of the game (where there are a lot more islands so it is a lot more necessary). Linked storehouses is a possibility too, but with teleportals it's not really needed. I might make it possible to feed pets from the storehouse if you are near it, but it'd be a bad idea to be able to feed them anywhere on the island (especially underground). An upgraded map has been suggested before and it's on my maybe list, there are just some potential issues I have to work through (like spoilers on the surface which doesn't have fog of war currently). The weight is cumulative, so 200 carry jetpack + 50 base + 100 from skill points lets you carry 350 weight, but it does take a lot of skill points. I'll reduce the increasing cost per level of weight so that it stays useful later on.

A couple of tips to cope with the issues described above. 1) You can cast slow on your own members too, so it might be worth it if you have a fast moving one while the other army doesn't. 2) It isn't immediately clear, but the leadership stat = hp of a group * max amount of that group. So if you have 1500 leadership you can have either 100 goblins or archers (since they have 15 hp each) in a slot or 15 druids (who have 100 hp each) etc.

I'd really like to see an arena at each map, where you could fight random encounters of that map's level. It's also necessary to be given the option to dismiss a group in your army for one that wishes to join it through diplomacy, instead of having the enemy always surrender when you are at a full group. Since you get no gold for surrenders. diplomacy does more harm than good. Other potential upgrades include the ability to see the max number of people you can recruit instead of --- when you don't have anyone of that group, the ability to see the stats of the enemies you're fighting when you click on them, and a button to make your melee fighters stop so that the ranged have some time to take them down.

Please make it possible to replay ending either by finishing last stage again or at main menu. I had the game at mute when I finished it, so I didn't understand fully what happened and it seems like I can't go back and watch it again.

Skajaw try out private var displayMoney:String = dollarSymbol + userMoney; , it says 300$ would look silly so you put the dollarSymbol variable first to make it $300.

As everyone has stated out a speed button would be a very welcome addition. Also hotkeys for the units would be nice, and an auto-build option or a queue could be even nicer. A skill reset button would make both experimenting easier and help us completionists get achievements like this is sparta easier (it takes forever to have enough units die to build 300 if you have fully upgraded troops). There are some balance issues and even a basic story would make the game much more enjoyable, but it still is a nice game. It just feels it could be much better with some polish.

If you are at max level and replaying lower level stages (like 15 and back) to get the brilliant ratings, then use every scroll, potion and coin as soon as it drops, even if you don't need them. Getting the rating will still be very easy cause of the extra talents and that way the game won't lag as much as when there's a full battlefield filled with the stuff (although there will still be noticable lag).

To get brilliant for lvl 18 just clear the sw isle and the forest south of the base for 1st wave. Then get the mana well, and start clearing the north base making sure you are ready for the fliers and then the rest of the map seizing monastery when there are just a couple monuments left. Build only Ballistas with your orc towers north to help with the Amazons and temple of overseers south. Terror should be enough to help with tough waves, so never use meteor and use spare mana to constantly cut out monuments.

Well brilliant in level 18 is quite doable with a good plan. Getting brilliant on 20 though requires much focus and a ton of luck with the divers (although the flying, vanishing and fearless iron guard can be very annoying too). And then you have to do it again (to get both day and night brilliants). Think that night brilliants should get you the day one as well, since if a strategy works for night, there isn't a reason it wouldn't work for day.

Tip: Don't bother using Meteor on the last bosses. Not only is it expensive, but with their large health pools they can easily take a few. Terror is much, much better on them. It is cheaper, it takes the backwards so they spend more time being hit by your tower, and most importantly of all with the drain life spell they lose 5% of their max health every second. So even bosses with huge health pools life the queen or the pirate ship will die after just 20 secs in fear.

Good game but there are some glitches. 1) if you are careless you can spend your level up point on something that is already maxed out, effectively wasting that levelup. 2) you can get stuck on the green blocks of 3-4 if one of the big hulking enemies hits you toward them. 3) I don't know exactly how but the diamond of 3-2 can be destroyed when you are fighting with the tiny purple slimes, leaving you unable finish the level normally. 4) If you circle around the map always following an edge then if you walk to the ledge to the left of 3-3, you get teleported near 2-6.

There is a bug at challenge mode. If you restart the game when you finish your 3rd day race, but before you press ok to accept the money and return to your garage, then when you load the challenge save you would be at day 4 and there wouldn't be any time limit. That way you could max out your equipment and even get the hatchback challenge badge(though you would have to reload after you do the 1000+ feet for the badge to register.)

There is a bug where you can get experience even after you are dead. I had lost to the final boss and left the endscreen for a while to find out that the random monsters were dying to the boss's attacks and even the boss itself died to its own plasma spheres attack actually bumping me to level 30. Also if you level up to 30 that way you'll need to get another level the normal way to get the medal.
