Only barely amusing, even for a meme post. And don't explain the joke.

Quick guide here. The point, obviously, is to explore and kill and plunder. First you go to "towns", where the statue gives you important quests. You must take the quest about killing the boss for it to appear; then you must find and kill the boss for its key, which unlocks new paths and new towns. Rinse repeat until the end. You kill things and level up. I’ve found that magic is way better than melee, at least by midgame. Tier three thunder is probably the best skill, so go straight for that. Don't go beyond tier one fire, it's not worth it. I didn't bother with healing, since death is a slap on the wrist. Tier three poison is also useful, but generally won't kill everything on screen like thunder. Cooldowns are irritating but not drastic. Oh yeah, and I think you pretty much need magic for the final boss fight anyway. It’s super easy if you have high enough magic stats. There’s plenty of stuff to be found, but you won’t need it to beat the game. Just for OCD completionist fun.

If you just want to get through the game quickly, invest in thunder magic first, because the tier three spell annihilates both hordes of normal enemies and bosses. I wish I'd known this sooner, before I wasted all that time swinging away with a bat instead of simply zapping everything in seconds.

I somewhat appreciated the visuals and audio, and I appreciated that you didn't try to make the characters and story deep and engaging for a game that doesn't require it. The gameplay itself is simple and repetitive, as the enemies aren't very challenging and you can burn though them with a mindless attack/heal strategy - and status effects are useless against bosses anyway, rendering them completely pointless. Without variety or challenge in the game, it just gets boring. Look to be more creative and add more options in battle next time.

You've clearly never played Touhou, amigopen. There are different things to consider when comparing the two games, but as a broad generalization, this whole game is like super easy to normal mode on Touhou. Part of that is because the player in this game is too strong with upgrades; if you had to actually spend 20-30 seconds on each boss attack without so many lives and bombs to get you through, then Oblivion would be more like a true extra boss.

Don't think I've ever played Lemmings, but this game was simple enough to get and there was decent challenges here. Most weren't too bad until the last one, which did take me a good ten minutes to figure out. Fun game, but I agree that you should allow pause to give a more unobstructed view of the field and that you should be able to just click to begin.

Safari has no issues. The puzzles are mostly interesting but fair. However I agree that the timing required for some of the final levels - i.e. the race level and final level - is a little too much. And I think the final level is just plain unfair for the absurd amount of trial-and-error needed even to find the solution, yet alone accomplish it. Still, a pretty good and fun puzzle game overall.

So after getting mauled the first time, I realize I need more soldiers, more police stations, more malls to fend off the hordes - so I make all my extra survivors soldiers, and I take three police stations and two malls. And I regularly send out my soldiers to kill zombies in the area to keep their numbers low. And JUST when I think I'm doing alright - swarm of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ZOMBIES headed your way! Good frickin' luck, bro!

For those of you having trouble with survival, go with skeletons, reaper, confuse, and earthquake (and at least one damage spell, and soul jar helps with mana upkeep). Confuse and damage thin out the crowds and weaken the big guys so that your skeletons and reaper can successfully guard the top. Earthquake to keep structure percentage down when possible. Using this method I easily achieved 28 minutes, then got bored. Twelve minutes should be fairly simple - good luck.

Very fun game, simple yet challenging and engaging. The graphics and music and humor give a good background as well, so all around a great quick ride.

It's an interesting and fun game, but I agree that 50 levels is overkill. I'm also slightly annoyed that beating the game comes down to having properly allotted your skill points or getting lucky with the enemies. I wasted my skill points on too much interest - which of course becomes useless once you hit the upgrade cap (hurr durr shoulda seen that coming) - and had to replay and replay the last few levels until I got lucky with enemy fire being more spread out. It was still better than replaying 50 levels.

I frankly can hardly believe this game has a 4.09. I admit I adore the look of the characters, and the punny dialogue was pretty good too. But the gameplay is boring. That's because it's super easy, so on each new floor I just send out my guys en masse, kill some guys, heal, don't let the priestess die, etc. etc. rinse repeat. It's tedious because I don't need to put any real effort into it; I liked the small amount of floors because I could get through to the end boss battle more quickly. There is a simple pleasure in successfully controlling your pawns to victory that got me to bother finishing, but overall it's just a simple, mediocre game.

Well shit, once I realized firing at full power does much higher dps than using auto-fire, 1cc-ing Oblivion became almost easy.

Definitely a fun little way to kill some time, but not a must-play game, IMO. To be honest, I don't think it's as challenging or creative as the other games in the elephant series. Not much variety in gameplay until you reach the end, so it actually got a little monotonous toward the end. It's still a good game, but I was expecting more from an elephant game.

I can hardly believe all the positive comments for this. There's really nothing special about this game - gameplay is simplistic, too easy, and possibly even tedious considering the lack of variety in enemies or your own skills. The dialogue is a bit bland, although not cringe-worthy. I will say the graphics on the characters is kinda cute, but crawling through the same dungeon layout level after level is uninspiring. I'd say this is just an okay time-waster at best.
