I unlocked swarmling II before getting 1 quadrillion swarmlings.. is that achievement impossible now?
Nope, empowered units count toward the achievements too.

I can't even get the game to play. The first play button works fine, but when I click the second one, nothing happens. The walkthrough button opens up a new window, but play button..nothing
