I am generaly a big fan of good turn based strategy games. I have played quitr a few so I think I say with some experience that this game could have and should have been a hell of a lot better than this. Maps are too small, there is appriciable difference in terrain, when you see any terrain other than flat squares at all. The units seem to want to upgrade between battles but the info is too cluttered for me to make sense out of. (If the game were better then I might take the time to try to figure it out but as it is...) And frankly, the AI has no visable aggression by the fourth mission. (Theoretically of ten so I'd like to think mission 4 is fairly far into the game.) This has a lot of potential but, like its predicessors, doesn't quite make it. Sorry guys. Better luck next time. 8)
The resource system is a nice touch. However, the random drop and random return on selling a tower makes levels a little TOO dependant on luck for my taste. I have yet to see enough of the 4th tear resource drops to win anything but the easiest of settigs on the third map. (The one that forks then meets at the end.) You can't build anything but the two lowest end towers without the little M component and You don't see them regularly enough. I have gone entirely to the 5th wave without seeing a single one. Sorry about the rant. The point is, random is NOT the answer in this sort of game.
On the eighth litterally identacle battle with an identacle crab, (There is a fisherman counting for you for crying out loud...) I got bored and quit. Sorry guys. Decent system and increadible artwork for a free flash game. Just... boring.
I like the idea but the puzzles are confusing. I don't program computers for a living and have a computer science degree so O may be missing something 'odvious.'
Car wars is a cool gernre. The collector card thing is a neat twist I suppose. The massive number of glitches is a bit of a problem. This probably shouldn't have been released without a bit more playtesting.
The first couple of times I saw these "Games that aren't games, they are just jokes" they were sort of cute. And occasionaly I see one that actualy is funny. This is about the three hundredth "Game that's not a game, it's a joke" I've seen now and the one joke it has going isn't funny any more. 1/5. As advertised.
I'm still a huige Kong fan. That said... The new comments system is not so good. Could be good if We had other options for sorting them, but not so good as it is. A lot of the sense of community is lost with the new set up. Not so fond of the new way games are listed either. 2 collumns, no page jump to ability and I'm confused as to what order things are in now. Makes things hard to find. This comment was originaly a lot more positive and had helpful ideas. But I seem to be limited to 1000 characters. I'd make 2 consecutive somments but you'd never find part 2...
