I noticed a bug and reported it, a few days later I get a message saying that it has been fixed. No bull, just using data and jumping on the job. With that this developer has earned my respect, and a 5/5.
For some reason the game screen is very zoomed in naturally, and changing the zoom setting doesn't fix it. Because of this I can't get click several of the options and therefore can not play, just thought I'd inform the creator.
Hello there, about the resolution issue, have you try to refresh the browser?.. as far as i know, Kongregate will detect the original game resolution automatically. It might be used the last smaller game resolution before playing this one.. If it still not fixed, could you send me a screenshoot?..
And yes feel free to ask and PM me, dont mind about that.. Thank you.. :) [-Hino]
I like the game, I just know that it is overly hard in the later parts. Hell this game is so hard in the later parts that I simply can't fathom why it's a medium badge. If it was a hard, maybe, but I'm not forcing myself through an few hours of trial and error for 15 points.
I understand my computer is not top notch so this probably doesn't happen to everyone, but the intro had a good 5 to 6 seconds of audio/visual lag for me. I heard it 5 seconds before it showed it.
The difficulty jumps in this game are rediculous. One moment I'm instant killing everything, then the next moment I'm staring down something with 6000 more life than me. Most of the time without warning! I can't fight that! At least not at my level anyway. Level 1-3 zones should not be throwing snowballs at you as a softener for pure demon.
I am kind of confused on quite a few of the stats and why sometimes I do lots of damage and why sometimes I just don't. My utter confusion combined with my high placing among the high score list on infinite mode might be a bad sign of the game being simple or easy.
Danger signs otherwise, fantastic game. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself.
You know I slightly take back my previous message. I took everything out, every single place on my own. But the Eastern empire's level 7 and 8? I'm not entirely sure it's possible.... Alone, with a full team. Absolutely nothing, it always ends up with my head being lopped off in a single hit. I'm level 50!!!
You know, the game is painfully easy. Probably the only thing wrong with it. I went to normal mode and shot through it without units. Just, myself. Of course I took it one step at a time but the point is it is possible.
For some reason this game lags terribly on my computer, while I can play fallout 3 perfectly. Awkward... Regardless, I don't blame you as most flash games lag on this computer, I just wish there was a quality selection option so I could go low.
I wish there was more of a use for potions. I frequently find myself with an inventory absolutely filled with potions I never use. Between the heal spell and mana regeneration, not to mention the general difficulty.. Well there just barely any use for them at all. I'll admit to one or two situations where I used one to save myself but pretty much it.
Also, grinding is great and all but your games are annoying centered on it. It was refreshing for the first few but... No..... Like you have three entire upgrade tiers for ONE MISSION! That is like 6000 if you were to get them all (at least) and you will at least get a few because you are forced to through pure enemy power. It is just kind of ridiculous.
I liked it but the very fact that when playing as the Sun emperor your abilities tended to stack with the Cat god was kind of annoying. I'd go buy an upgrade from the amount of money I made trying that level so that when I'm done it will be easier, and I would end up watching the Cat god suddenly have more power... Freaking annoying.
Great game nonetheless though. Although I must say I really only stuck around for the badge this time, not because I particularly enjoyed myself.
You said that the bugs aren't bugs, well I got a few. If you spend all your money in the tutorial you need to refresh the game because it will keep telling you to hire an employee. After you beat the game your original game keeps running in the background, meaning it doesn't actually delete your game just stop you from loading it. If you just wait for them to take over another place, listening for the sound, you can refresh the game and reload it. If you go back to the main menu and then start a new game, it will continue to run your old game causing it to run 2 instances of the game at once; this causes lag.
The bugs are bugs.
This game is a hell of a lot better than I had first expected it to be. It is actually rather symbolic honestly, at least in my eyes anyway. You start slow and the obstacles get more and more insane, failing you go back and have to try again until you succeed. Pure determination is the only way through this, no amount of grinding or time spent standing will help you. It is constantly moving, even when you don't want it to or when you aren't yourself. You get to the end and you get a moment of success before you die. No escaping it, no way out. Absolute failure, inescapable fated failure. Then you start all over , straight from the beginning. Kind of like life you know? I might be over thinking it but I like this game, definitely going in the favorites.
