For anyone having trouble with the badge registering, it didn't for me until I finished a day with 20. If you're still having trouble, take a screenshot (with your username visible above chat), click 'report missing achievement' and send them the picture.
I just got the hard badge for completing the 15th dungeon.. Is that a thing.. that happens..? Not complaining though, I love the mechanics of this game but it turned into a grind fest for the most part.
With games like this that don't require sound, I usually pop on a podcast in the background. But man, the sound effects in this game are so freaking satisfying! The sharp *chink* noise the ice enemies make, and the tiny tiki blocks.. It's like bubble wrap to my ears ^_^
My mouse only responds about 30% of the time, just in this game. Everything else is fine, any ideas what this could be? It's intensely frustrating to stand directly in front of an enemy going 'Click click... clickclickclickclick dammit CLICK!'
So I finished Act V by killing the brain/controller beastie, and the end text said that I failed by being 'too resilient' and I don't have the achievement. Did I miss something?
Really enjoyed it! Been waiting for a new Sugar Sugar for aaages. It's somehow very soothing. Easiest hard badge I ever earned (not that I'm complaining!). Every level seemed very straightforward, apart from 28 & 29 which became a total noodley mess. Nice work!
Thank you very much ^_^
We have many ideas about future Mr. Gilbert's adventures; we'll develope them in the future. Right now we're making a new adventure we hope you'll like. :) keep having fun!
I really enjoyed this game :D It has the creep factor, but not enough to put me off playing (I am a semi-wuss). Most of the actions make logical sense though you're still required to play around a bit. It has that WHAAAT? moment that I love and left me thinking for a while after I'd finished the game, which to me is a sign of brilliance. I still feel like I'm missing the significance of some things though.. Ah well, 5/5. P.s. it did go to black screen on me once, but it was right near the end (telephone-mirror bit) and it worked right after I refreshed, so I'm happy to forgive).
I feel like the meanest for saying this, but.. I don't understand the level of praise that this is getting. There are some things I do really like, the combat system is interesting and something I'd like to see more of. However I'm losing my temper with getting caught on the corner of -everything- and going straight through the side of buildings and getting stuck in the walls every 5 seconds. Also, being told exactly where to go for every quest means that half the time I'm just running from point A to B, without really having to remember anything I'm told/getting invested. I totally appreciate that it's not finished and I don't mean any discouragement, it just seems that everyone else had a very different experience to me, judging by all the 5/5's. I spent most of my time frustrated.
Some people experience lag, and it's the lag that causes glitches. And I don't know how to fix those glitches.
This is why people's opinion of this game varies so much. If the game works fine, people seem to enjoy it quite a lot.
I believe picking up allies means that they snipe the little bots/birds out the sky for you, so you can just focus on the boss's bullets without being chased down.
Sorry about that, there was a bug. I just uploaded a fix (you might need to shift+refresh).
