It's half baked. No that's putting it mildly... It doesn't even have enough of the right ingredients to make it palatable.
My first suggestion would be to make the mouse visible again once the game is over. A few lines of code should do the trick. Increase the amount of catwalks that the attackers can land onto. Three would do fine. Make it so that you can prevent the ships from landing instead of just raining bullets on whatever comes out of them. More weapons. Buildings. Upgrades. You can never go wrong with upgrades, some good games are based on upgradability. Repairability. And lastly, fix the shooter's stance. It looks like he's going to fall over from the recoil.
Big potential, though. It just needs work.
This is a pretty unique form of game based story telling. I've only ever played this one and I've enjoyed it quite a lot. Reminds me of my life. LOL!
I wanna be able to replay it though, but that option doesn't seem to be available. This is my only complaint...
Love this game. The light mechanics are quite spectacular and really helps bring the game to life. The voice acting does rather well in giving the characters personality, especially Anabel.
This game's been around for quite a while now and the part of me that's waiting for the sequel is really starting to itch. I know something like this cannot be rushed but this game is great and it would be a waste if it wasn't followed up.
