The concept with exploring dungeons and crafting your own equipment is all nice and good - but hell, saying the controls are clunky would be the understatement of the year. The controls are making the combat system a bad joke. I'm not sure what the dice rolling system adds to the game? Just seems like a bad mechanic so that you have something to charge for.
Wanting money for this weak game just doesn't seem appropriate to me.
Hey, I like the great concept, but currently it's a bit easy since one strong armored special unit usually is enough to win the game. I'd like to see the option of difficulty levels so it is challenging
for fast typers. I really hope you expand on the concept :)
I really like the 4th incarnation of this game. Achievement system is great, controls respond nicely. I like that Amateur is capped at 4x so it is easier to come back to max after a critical mistake, while Pro still has the 10x and the harsh perfection requirement for high scores.
4/5 Great game, I like the different nodes and the AI feels kinda ok. My only issue is the +5 units you get every time you conquer a base. That means punching a hole in the enemy defenses is not only good (which it should be), but almost always a guarantee to win, since you get awarded even more units for the consecutive conquers. I have the feeling, it's a bit too much slippery slope there making come-backs never happen. It feels less strategic and more chaotic that way imho.
Thanks for your great feedback. I might fix this with in one of the upcoming versions, cause I want to know if the new solution would work better for a sequel :):
Hey, awesome game there 5/5. Unfortunately the levels get just longer and don't add anything new in the later stages of the game. Generally the enemies aren't really a threat but only annoying. Especially the small ones are just a waste of ammo instead of threatening - and if you get hit the healing is ridiculously high. While the ammo limit makes the first few levels a bit more challenging, I don't feel like it adds anything interesting to the game. I'd rather have some stronger enemies than a endless wave of harmless small monsters, that just eat up ammo - that's not a particularly fun mechanic. This game has great potential to be improved to a really great game.
This is such an amazing game, gameplay is very action packed and enjoyable. But it is really ruined by the fact that the publisher is maxing out money earned per development time so hard. That's so sad and unfortunately many great game ideas nowadays suffer from that trend :( .
