@ Chubawuba - sometimes you have to wait a short time for them to kick in. But i've had to reload sometimes, cause they do seem to occasionally drop out (when refreshing) I've never noticed them disappearing in the middle of playing.
I think Micromanagement is exactly as it should be (& yes I've botched it & had to pay the exorbitant sums to re-hire) Too much micromanagement is never a good thing. So the jumps, while frustrating, are fitting. Cool to see Newspaper coming in 3rd in profit with it's current final upgrade.
The +10's and the +50's will add that many of a business, with the added bonus of not changing the price for the next one. I try to use them as high up as possible, to get a 500/600/700 everything x2 profit. (the last i will get before running it to a reset). The Newspaper ones are especially useful to get the lemonade stand multipliers at higher levels.
They are only useful when you will make back the #of AI's + the amount you want to go up in AI's before you reset.
@ ethan8989. I noticed that as well & was wondering if it was a bug. I think it's from the affects of the new Newspaper quarterly achievements. Makes for some readjustment of strategy.
@ Zoober - as I understand it, it kind of depends on where you are at with AI's & earnings. I was a little skeptical about the 1 trillion for x11. but used it when i had over 2 trillion & the loss did not seem to significantly drop in comparison with the bonus (i know it did some). Presently I'm at 17 trillion. I can't say i exactly have a handle on how "permanently spent" affects continued earning, or "re -earning" AI's. - i do get that it drops your current total, which does affect your earnings. However, with Lemonade 1000 + Oil at 800 right now it's a struggle to get those mid level to 600 for the everything x2 achievement. So making those jumps, rather than paying a large amount of Undecillions, seems worthwhile when i'm getting a couple billion AI's a second. There is also a question about whether those jumps, increase the price as the normal progression would. There may be some extra benefit there (best used as high as possible, if that's the case)
@Chax37, Load a page of best comments, or oldest, or even scan some of the most recent, *or* read the updates. it's not a bug. It gets downvoted because the *exact* same type of comment pops up a couple of times every day since the first update & it clearly shows that people are not paying attention to the game before 250-300.
@ SandPanda, Perry White was the Editor in Chief of the Daily Planet (Superman) So Perry Black seems fitting for this game, seeing how newspaper seems to be everyone's kryptonite.
Omg - the businesses don't all grow at the same rate - the numbers must be wrong. I can't mindlessly click with no strategy - must be a bug. I can't be bothered to do the math myself, or search comments for other players who have numerously posted formulas - must be a problem with the update. The Game has not written a term paper for my Econ 205 class, it must be broken. NOT A SINGLE CENT of these funds have been directly deposited in my accounts. Must be (insert your favorite hated politician's agenda).
Hahahahahahaha . Maybe about a week ago my computer locked up & i lost a game that had billions of AI's. I'm just about to reset & be back in the billions. Much faster this time, cause i learned what works best. (except for learning *not* to read the comments - because many are going to assume the problem is with the game, rather than their strategy)
@Michael3710 50 AI's (at 2%) gives you 100% more earnings. so yes at 81 is a good time to reset game, to earn more money faster & therefore more AI's. I don't follow the strict "doubling" (50/100/200/400 etc.) once it gets to thousands & millions, but initially it helps.
I think locking the buy 10 is a stupid idea. it's good as a "buy as much - up to ten" option. If your OCD'ing about making it all even - just look at your money & how much it costs. Pretty simple since the displayed price for 10 is now shown. You either have more or less than the amount. If you want to click buttons without thinking about it, there are *many many* other idle games that are designed that way.
