Has potential, but UI and bugs are an issue. I had several instances of mobs turning invisible and even once of my own guy vanishing. Also inventory is too small as mentioned, and the interface of abilities and spells should be both visible at the same time. Switching between them to use cooldowns in the heat of battle is just frustrating and ends up in unnecessary trips back to the load screen.
Controls are responsive, game is creative, music is good, and it's overall polished. I never give 5/5 because there needs to be a rating reserved for the rarest of gems. I gave this game a 5/5.
Only two complaints. 1. Ninja bosses are used as a crutch and force a single strategy. Beating them isn't the issue, it's the fact that it forces everyone to use the exact same strategy. Second being that "returned" gems don't count towards Brilliant victory. If all gems are in their starting spot, it should count.
Otherwise, excellent game. Towers are balanced and upgrades are "worth it", and the thing I hate most in TD games is thankfully absent, which is flying creatures or anything that requires a special tower and makes everything else useless. Well done.
Really fun, but the percentages are often too forgiving. I keep winning by accident with obvious remaining steps still to do. For example, on 19, I had no orange at all, just the green and black, and won. Would like to be able to finish the image even after "winning", maybe and have it recalculate the percentage.
I'm guessing by "Kongregate" version they mean "the you can't heal" version. Probably would be fun otherwise. Is it that hard to put a "see a medic" button while in a town?
Gems keep just wiping themselves out, can't even get to 100 to buy the legendary shop. I actually got to negative 5 gems and couldn't buy regular non-gem items until I got back into the positive.
Might have some potential if I didn't have to play it right handed. Women can vote, there's black President, now let's give left handers equal rights, shall we? Not allowing arrow keys is just laziness, please fix.
Fun game, but a trophy for playing 2 1/2 hours? You kidding me? I beat this before getting the 1 1/2 hour badge. Flash games are meant to be short distractions, not long time investments.
It's a nice start, hope the creator fixes it up. Cannot delete cogs, if one falls behind the button for a new one, you can't pick it back up, and the "sliding shield" is a poor concept that doesn't affect difficulty or create challenge, but instead just adds annoyance and frustration.
#3 S:65 C:62 - Yohimbine. Elegant and effecient. I took a clean approach to this one, but as always with my designs, it's about visual poetry.
