4/5 because you have to hit the spacebar to start a new game...wtf? Why not have a button like everything else on the screen. Otherwise, good for a medium badge one-time play type game. Too bad these kinds of games have no replay value whatsoever, where something like Doeo I can play over and over every couple months and still delight in it. This game is good for the amount of time that must have gone into developing it, which couldnt have been much.
Sorry, just noticed the replay last level button...might want to move that up to the top! Also, the reduced quality seems to be helping with the lagging problem I was having before. Too bad it looks jagged, but play is much smoother. Thanks for being so responsive!
This is definitely the best game yet by this creator. You still have a problem with typos. You really should type up all of your game text in a word processor before you put it in...it really adds a level of polish to your games and it's so easy! The broken link to the walkthrough detracts some as well. You keep getting better and better, just pay attention to the details! Also, it's improving but try to steer away from using random clicks to find hidden items. Users end up just clicking all over rather than puzzling out clues and logically finding items. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Great fun but just a few comments...its a bit laggy for me which is rather frustrating as it causes me to die quite a lot, I'd like to be able to see my top time and score for each level and pick up exactly where I left off rather than going back and completing levels I just passed, scores should be kept per level and not cumulative so your top score should be the addition of all your best scores for each level completed, and the delay between clicking go and the action starting is a bit too long. Otherwise I really enjoyed it!
I can't get past the second to last room without the game crashing, so I'm not going to finish this game until it's updated.
Some feedback: The instructions are not comprehensive enough. It takes a lot of poking around and trial and error to figure out what's what, and for a quick flash game that's too long.
The cut scenes are cute, but you need a way to advance through them if you're a quick reader, in a way that doesn't stop the cut scene completely.
The energy blast skill goes from wildly overpowered to practically useless within a couple of rooms. I'd suggest scaling back the spell a good bit and increasing the last few squares to 5% maybe.
I probably could have finished but after three crashes I'm done. I can't give this more than a 2/5 because of the bugs. Please do more intensive testing before you release.
Like *any* card game, there's an element of luck and an element of strategy. It's the times when you've been cursed twice and still come back to win that you realise how awesome this game is, and how much strategy can play a part. I just wish it had more sound effects that fit the card actions and maybe a little smarter AI.
Very fun, but the boss fights don't make sense. Also, it would be nice to be able to repair the temple partway with as much gold as you have on hand. Otherwise it's impossible to maintain. Maybe with practise, but still, on easy mode that was a bit too hard.
Yeah my strategy for this and the other game for this card was basically either mashing arrow keys, or standing still until something was coming directly at me.
Very easy card. I have to think when this many cards in a row get this easy that Kongai is getting released soon. lol
Thanks for the tip Quentara! I found an Acromage download here:

I'll check it out! Still, having a flash version is nice. :)
Yeargh...local save files suck...I wanted to play for a bit during some downtime at a friend's house, but there's no point in playing if I can't continue my game from before, or access this game again later.
Sorry, I always forget about those google links...here's a link to download the original game:

It's exactly the exact same thing, just in a stand-alone version, and not as refined.
I checked out the original game, here: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gosfish.co.uk%2Fgames%2Fdetails.asp%3Fid%3D7&ei=HJVOSLz5EZHiggKj6uWHAg&usg=AFQjCNGTn3f_uurOurbGTFOWWkF-KYfYhA&sig2=3CWKgRSYpVCTcPlo80U9kQ
and I have to say, this Flash port is a much more balanced version. The cards seem better distributed, and the higher cost of Curse in this version is much more balanced to the card's power. Also, I like the improved font. Great job! This game is favorited and I come back to it whenever I need a five minute break from what I'm doing. Thanks!!
I have to say, the first one was more engaging, more intense. Perhaps it's the change of backgrounds and music? But I think there was more demands for timing earlier in the game (and more fun snarky comments) in the first one, which made it more enjoyable.
Would be nice to be able to damage some of the missiles with your bullets, and to have the hearts stick around a little longer so you have a decent chance of getting them. Also, it is frustrating how the ground slows you down. Otherwise, its a cute idea but I won't play it past level one. 2/5
It's a great concept but several things are irksome. I'd like to be able to reset a screen once I get to the point where i know I've screwed up and have to start over. Also, when I mute the music that's because I want it to stay muted. You should not have to reset this at every screen, and cut scenes should respect the setting.
