Fun once you get the hang of it, but the instructions are NOT clear. Might be good to clarify that by "pair" you mean two dice of any value, not two matching dice!
Lag is definitely better, and I like the separation of the arrows. It's taking a little while to get used to the 4 hold keys, but I think it was a good addition.
I'm not as happy with the new voiceovers...the last one had just the right amount of schmaltz, it was perfect. This one sounds kind of lame, sorry. Also, the songs are a lot longer, which honestly for me when I'm trying to get it down is really annoying. The length of songs on 2 was just right. Also, unlocking the Nintendo themes right away in 2 felt like a real treat and I was excited to get to them. I've only listened to a couple of the songs so far, but unfortunately I have to say, I don't really like the selections as much in 3 as I did in 2. JMO! Great job though, thanks for your work and keep it up!
Oh wait I see what you mean. The Knogregate badge measures award points, and the guitar unlocking measures number of awards. That's kind of silly. Kongregate should have used the same convention that the game uses.
git45 You get award points for each level of achievement, so bronze is one point, silver is two points and gold is three. I have two gold stars and two bronze stars right now and that's 8 points. I know I suck lol but the game is really jumpy on my PC so I have a hard time hitting all the notes on time. :(
Game rocks but its really jumpy on my machine so it's hard to stay in tempo at times. Also, having only one easy song then having to jump straight into tough is too daunting for newbs like me who dont play Guitar Hero. Replace those songs you lost and the game would be much more new-player friendly.
Definitely needs a better introduction/tutorial section. If you're not *really* interested in figuring out how things work it's just not worth poking around and trying to figure it out. It was overwhelming and just didn't hold my interest.
Yeah I have to agree...the difficulty scaling is really bad, and trying to actually use finesse and strategy is totally worthless. This was NOT a good game to badge.
Great fun! The easy badge for this game doesn't seem to be working though...maybe it's just me. Also, I'd suggest you introduce suns earlier in the game, but make the first one or two a smaller mass so they're easier to avoid. The first one is a killer.
Sorry, bored after 30 minutes of trying to adjust to the gameplay. Nostalgia is all well and good, but you might consider a somewhat more readable font and a little faster pacing.
Very cute! I really enjoyed playing, and would love to see more Anika adventures with this wonderful artwork style and engaging characters.
The only two puzzles I was a little stumped by were the cogs on the machine and the cart on the ramp. If the cogs continued to fizzle after pulling the lever that would help you to know to click on them. Also, if the ramp groaned a little when the cart went onto it that would have helped. Still, two minor stumpers in a short pleasant puzzle adventure are certainly not overwhelming.
