@ore, science points on a character let you research technologies faster. a level 10 science person can research a low level tech in 2-5 turns, a level 1 science person would take about 25-40 turns for the same tech. Getting your techs fast is the key to winning
@SvenBoogie, the trick to beating hard and impossible is to finish a large easy map first. Train up 5 super survivors in the schools to all 10s in their stats, equip them with your best gear, and then use the helicopter to take them to a new city. Select impossible/huge, give their weapons to new people you find, and you start off quite strong.
Mahx3, let him do the book, it adds happiness, its a positve thing. However, later on crazy will want to open a church, which is what you say no to, or else you are screwed in the long run. @zach, there are more than 3 ways to beat the game.
5/5 for river city ransom all over the place. I played that game to death as a kid. This game is sooo retro and brought back good memories. Great job, and thanks for refreshing my memory of some great times! Great game.
You know, this is an awesome game. I would buy the full version, but i cant use my kreds on it. YOu have to make it available for kreds. Why cant I do that?
@Youtookmyname. YOu arent supposed to try impossible really with fresh characters. Beat the game on normal, use schools to train up 5 super survivors with 10 in all stats, equip them with machine guns and/or rocket launchers, then fly to a new city with the heliport. Set up impossible/huge map, unequip the weapons give them to your next 5 surivors, and now start. Easy
this game was not good enough to deserve all these badges. there are many amazing games on kong without any badges, let alone 4. Is the developer related to someone at kong? I mean its not a bad game at all, just tedious and does not deserve it.
Awesome Game as usual Nerdook. However, one complaing. Make the controls customizable. I love WADS controls, but i can not handle using the space bar for attack/jump in games. If X is the option for arrow key control, the option for WADS should be J, not space. Please make this fix if you can.
What a trip down memory lane for this 35 year old gamer. I grew up on all those games, needed a hint for some. For many of my favorite games, i actually pictured the point in time when i played them, like FF. THank you so much. 5/5 for the nostalgia alone. Now im looking up emulators to play some of them.
