The Avg Planet Coins/s doesn't show up (I'm playing on Firefox). The label is there, but the value is off the bottom of the screen, and there's no scrollbar to access it.
Why has my "next fuse" progress bar slowed to a crawl? I was getting tier-3 prestiges including the one that looks like a red picnic basket hoping to merge more often, but instead my auto-merge is now much slower.
I'm earning 7 SFC/s, but I don't see a way to win. I also have optimization level 4, but it doesn't seem any faster. THIS IS NOT AN IDLE GAME. Idle games eliminate the tedious repetition, but this game is all about doing the same tedious steps over and over again.
I flew too close to the sun. After only about a week playing, I upgraded my painter's apprentice drawing speed to level 74565, which is apparently "infinity", and the game broke.
Suggestions: don't flip back to the workshop every time I switch paintings in the shop. Create a feature (that we can unlock) to automatically switch to the painting that's quality can be upgraded the most cheaply.
If you accumulate more than 2.1 billion rocks (2^31) while the game is closed, when you re-open the game, the number of rocks will overflow, become negative, and you will lose money if you sell your rocks. It seriously hampers "idle" play if you have to open the game every 8 hours to sell your rocks. Can you make the number of rocks a 64-bit quantity, or maybe a floating point number?
It would be nice to see the total and current hit points of the enemy that's selected. Also, in the Raider Overview panel, you could align the text with the buttons.
After my first raid, I picked up some sort of ... knife? I'd expect that to make my damage go up, but it didn't seem to. I also don't see anywhere I can equip things.
I read the instructions looking for a mute button, only to discover that I was apparently playing a music game. Weird - I thought it was just a reflection puzzle.
There's a serious bug in this game. 10 seconds after I started playing, the mouse locked up. It stayed like that for a while, so I tried Ctrl-Alt-Del to kill Firefox. My screen went black, no task manager, but I could still hear the game music. I eventually had to do a hard reset of Windows. When I came back, I logged back in to Kongregate. My level 58 account was still there with all my badges, but my local Kongregate storage was empty - all my progress in every game was lost. Lesson: back up your Kongregate saved games, and don't play this game.
How do you load a game? I played to level 4, and got "Game Saved" messages, but when I closed my browser and re-opened, I only see the option "Click to start a new game", which puts me back at level 1.
BTD5 has many nice features, but one flaw makes it worse that the other 4 editions: you have to manually collect bananas from your banana farms. Sorry, but that's not how a TD game is supposed to work. You build the towers, and the towers do the work.
This game is way too flukey. Move a beam 1 pixel left, and it can support three elephants. Move it 1 pixel right, and it can't hold it's own weight.
In a physics game, the physics needs to right. 1/5.
