Yeah the loop seems to be caused by going back up a floor and then trying to go past the floor you came back up on. At least that is how the loop starts for me on any act.
Why does the name ring a bell *cough*modaynightcombat*cough*, In any case the game is fun, and the upgrades keep you interested. Although I wish there were more passive upgrades.
Pretty cool thing you've got here, but i wish unit navigation was easier, for example you could have single clicking a cop badge select that squad and double clicking move to the squad. Also if you add anything, put in a drag select, I hate having to micro each squad.
no tactics needed, just spam gunners. Also when the alien's spire can create the blue alien hulks fast than you can move you mouse from one side of the screen to the other, there's a problem.
Nice thing you have going here, I can't award you with originality points, but I can award you for beating Bubble Tanks Arena to the punch. In any case I noticed the game takes longer to load things if you have to many celles/thoughts, which can be a problem for those who like to experiment. The other thing I noticed is that the start battle button in campaign doesn't always work.
controls take a little getting used to, but I have no prob with that, what does irritate me is that there are no checkpoints between harder rooms and that alarms carry though scenes, even after waiting. Fix this, the aforementioned bugs, and polish it up and you'd have a 7/5 game.
Since noone's hit mike's aim issue, I will so nobody will complain (for now). Missile cell have an invisible turret on them that does NOT move as fast as your cursor, thusly hindering tracking abilities, this gets worse as the missle cell is placed father away from the core, and is resolved by placing tech (tracking) and speed (firing rate) cells next to missle cells.
