I'd love to be able to play this, but I'm on the first level and the arrow keys are completely unresponsive. :( I'm running Safari on Mac OSX 10.5.8, if that helps any.
It makes me kind of sad that having Ares as my enemy didn't really affect anything. :( I was hoping that he'd at least try to screw things up for me somehow.
Great game! :D I really love these fractured fairytale games. My only complaint is that some of the grammar in your writing is a little shaky. Maybe you could use a proofreader? Other than that, this game is pretty much perfect.
This was the first game I ever played on Kongregate. I can't even remember how I found it, but it was the whole reason I signed up. Thank you, Mr. Weir, for sharing your work with us. I hope you continue to make more lovely games for years to come.
"Clarence, m'dear, I think it's time you went to see a doctor. All the running and jumping you do just to get ready for work in the mornings should be doing wonders for your weight. I think you may have a thyroid problem. Love, Mum. PS- Don't forget to rate this game a 5/5 before you go."
Overall, this is a really great game. Everything I like about Shadow of the Colossus packed into a neat little Flash game that has consumed more of my time than I'd like to admit... ^^;;
I have a few minor complaints, however:
-It's too short! :( Just as I really started getting into the swing of things, it ended. I would have loved to see more of the story, especially since it felt like the ending totally came out of the blue.
-No pause button. This doesn't make any difference in story mode, but on time trial mode, the ability to pause would be nice.
-No restart button. Like the pause button, the ability to restart a level would be a boon to those playing time trial mode.
Still, none of these issues really detract from the game all that much, and it's got enough replay value to keep me coming back for more. 4/5. Kudos!
