Had an amazing bug. Went for 2, WR caught it just short, then suddenly the game put the ball on the 0 yard line and gave me a touchdown, so now I'm ahead 12-0 after one score. :)
Yep people aren't exaggerating. It's all peaceful and then suddenly it dials up to 11 at level 21/22 and it's hard to be dextrous enough knowing that if you screw up you have another 10 minutes of repetition before you get back to the hard stuff, with no way to practice. Bouncing out.
Thanks for the feedback. I've just published a new version, the songs of the levels are now completely mixed, even the most difficult ones! This should lower the difficulty level a bit and allow for a breather between two challenging songs. No more difficulty gap at lvl 21! You can also pause/unpause the game by pressing P, and practice the songs in the training mode!
I watched three 30-second commercials and answered a bunch of questions to get X3 gold, and it's still grayed out at the end of runs. This is ridiculous.
I sure wish my 100-year-old coach could retire without me having to lose my roster and stats. Let the poor man retire and have his son (or great-grandson, honestly) take over the team!
I know penalties aren't a thing in this, but it's kind of hilarious how often the defense runs into the QB when the ball is 20-30 yards down the field. I don't know how my quarterback isn't in concussion protocol every week.
I've never heard of a crowd complaining when someone kneels in the end zone on a kickoff lol. Would make more sense if the crowd booed if you chose field goal instead of going for it on 4th down.
Bumpy levels with random physics are more tedious than fun, especially since there aren't checkpoints to get past the boring beginning parts. The music is obnoxious after about two minutes. And then you design a new car but as soon as you make a mistake there's no undo or unattach button so you have to lose the last five minutes of work and start over. I'd expect this from the first game in a series, not a sequel. They should know better.
With the later ridiculously hard sections, my rage was lessened by the checkpoints giving me some sense of progress. Until I get to 59, where I have to die in the unresponsive hallway of death 20 times just to try and do the random giant luck spin once. Seriously, a checkpoint would be great.
Somehow I always seem to get around 300 the first time, think "I've got this," and then do about 20 m worse each time until I can't dodge spikes at 50 m, rage quit, and then come back the next day for more. I will get you, evil badge.
Only thing I would recommend is a save&quit option for the master puzzles to come back later, apart from that no complaints. I really enjoyed how the puzzles were stimulating but not tedious.
