I understand that luck plays a large part in this game, but it seems insanely rigged to me. Five times now I have needed to roll a specific number to capture a monster and have rolled one above the needed number just to have the very next die to end being the one I needed.
I really want to like this game, but it relies way too much on luck. The AI partners always manage to mess up and the final boss of zone 4 requires landing a certain skill every time he regains focus, if you miss once you have to start over.
EX hero rate is blatantly rigged. 41 boxes and only 3 heroes, this has happened several weeks in a row to multiple people so it can't just be coincidence. How can you ask people to pay for a game that is obviously rigged? It should only take 66 games on average to get all 11 copies of the card. Greedy developers...
The life drain ability seems a bit too strong, it does damage and heals the user. The worst part is this skill is only on cards that you have to pay real money for. Those cards should be more easily obtainable for free players so the game doesn't heavily favor those who pay. Right now it is almost impossible to win if you refuse to buy the overpowered cards.
Sorry, I don't have hours to waste grinding so I can beat level 4. Games that rely heavily on grinding are simply not fun to play. I would rather play a game with 20 levels that focused more on progress and good game design, than play a game with only 5 levels that focuses on increasing the games length through slightly luck based battles and tons of grinding. 1/5 unless this problem is addressed.
it's 1 minute per battle with the speed up option, you get to keep any earned cards when you are defeated, and there's a small gold bonus even for losing the battle. it takes maybe 30 minutes of playing to have a decent deck of units that is flexible enough to deal with the AI's builds. so... not really hours of grinding, I tried to avoid that too!
