I remember when this was in the NEW category and had all the black and white graphics and stuff. It was amazing then and it is amazing now! Great to see that the team has kept working on this amazing game! The graphics and polish is great, the progression/point system between games, everythign is great!
Hi, the levels are procedurally generated so you can enjoy an unlimited number of different levels. The downside is that it needs so time to be generated.
pretty fun and i like it, can't wait for the full game. i can see how this can be massively expanded with different fish, random bosses like a kraken, sunken ruins, etc. there are a lot of ways to go with it. i can see adding things in like fuel, supplies for the crew, etc. overall the concept is nice, the graphics are good even for an alpha and will be cool. great job, thanks! good luck!
You're definitely in line with my thoughts! I'm very much thinking the 3rd stage would be a volcano, to give you an idea of the setting. I do have 5 fish size classes coded up right now, though only small and medium are actually implemented. The other 3 are large (shark size), huge (whale size), gargantuan (kraken/shadow of the colossus size).
very nice and very well done. challenging, but interesting little story elements. helped with visualization for sure. would love to see this expanded. just such a cool and simple idea
I'm glad you liked it! I am working on extending the grim-saga beyond this short intro game, but I'm taking my time with it. Halloween coming up next month, gotta make it count :)
Few things after playing for a few hours:
1. in trial of air in the first room, you can stand on the very bottom edge of the spike floor and wont get hit
2. the arena achievements measure things in seconds but the timer says minutes:seconds, would be nice to have consistency here
3. i think the colors for active slots and maxed upgrades are a little too similar, when you active something it' be nice to see "active" written on it or something
4. when you tab to open the map the screen is black until you move around, kinda weird

Fun game but super easy for some reason. Level 41 was the only one that took me more than one try. I think it would be harder to not have symmetric shapes all the time, and more puzzles where two of the same color are placed but separated somewhere and you have to "join" the colors together correctly.
